Pharrell Williams is at the top of his game and celebrity career. Some may suggest he’s the driving force behind today’s music scene as not only a performer but also a songwriter and producer. He blazes trails with his ground-breaking lyrics and celebrity collaborations. All that success leads to a lofty bank account balance, affording Pharrell Williams the opportunity to explore his affinity for exotic and expensive cars. His collection of luxury wheels includes one model, in particular, that is said to be worth a whopping $2.5 million.

Pharrell Williams launched his career at an early age

Pharrell Williams is a Virginia native who knew early on in life that his career would be shaped by music. He was performing as a young teen before collaborating with his pal Chad Hugo, forming the Neptunes, reports Biography. The two continued to work with artists like Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, and even Jay-Z. Williams also helped found the group, N.E.R.D., responsible for popular albums like In Search Of… and Seeing Sounds. It was 2013 when he made mainstream headway with his number one song, “Happy,” another team-up venture, this time with Robin Thicke and Daft Punk. Since then, Williams joined the popular television show, The Voice, and now designs his own fashions, Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream. He is now estimated to be worth $150 million.

Pharrell Williams can afford to explore his hobbies and collect expensive cars. He’s a passionate auto enthusiast at heart and owns some of the most exotic rides ever designed. In past interviews, he’s shared his love of what he calls the “blood ‘n’ guts savagery of super cars.” He owns a McLaren Mercedes SLR, known for its speed and performance dynamics. But he also appreciates the luxury refinement of others, including the Rolls-Royce Phantom and the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe. He did also have a Bentley once but admitted it wasn’t for him.

The $2.5 million ride in the garage

One of Pharrell Williams’ most impressive cars just happens to be one of the most expensive. His 2003 Ferrari Enzo is a super fast car worth $2.5 million, with more horses than most can be comfortable handling. Williams says it’s so fast, in fact, that it’s like “being in a spaceship.” He also shares in an interview with MotorTrend that you almost have to be in a race car specific mood to drive the Enzo. And, according to Williams, one can truly only appreciate the Enzo after previously owning at least two other Ferrari models.

Why this car is such a sought-after gem

The Ferrari Enzo is already a highly sought-after unicorn, just because of its badge and impressive V12 engine, according to Hot Cars. But the Enzo is even more special because it’s earned its name from the founder of Ferrari itself. Others say it is a highly coveted garage ornament and has been for twenty years because of its old-world feel and cutting-edge tech, including its carbon-ceramic brakes. It is a beyond thrilling drive and maybe the last naturally aspirated hyper-car of its kind ever to be built. And for anyone who bought an early 2000s model, as Williams did, the Enzo models will still fetch anywhere from $2 million to $2.8 million, according to Automobile.

Pharrell Williams joins the ranks of many celebrity rappers and performers with high-profile car collections. Some might believe he’s more passionate about which exotic vehicles he calls his own, though. And when the price tags are well beyond seven figures, it demonstrates how Williams values his selection of car investments. Even the $2.5 million Ferrari Enzo is worth it to him, and despite the car’s age, it is still retaining its worth. There’s no question that he’s savvy enough to be successful and successful enough to buy whatever he wants to drive.
