Pokémon Legends: Arceus proved a huge success upon its debut, but Pokémon fans are wondering what the franchise has planned after the Nintendo Switch game. The Pokémon Company may answer that question during its next Pokémon Presents event, which is set to take place on Feb. 27. Here’s when and how to tune in.

Pokémon Presents scheduled for Pokémon Day on February 27

Pokémon Presents are live streams featuring exciting announcements about the franchise, and the next one is slated to take place on Pokémon Day on Feb. 27. The Pokémon Company revealed as much on Twitter, though it didn’t offer any insight into what projects might take center stage during the event.

To find out what’s featured, fans will need to tune in for the live stream. But what time does it start? According to Serebii, the event will kick off at 14:00 UTC. That’s 6 a.m. PST, or 9 a.m. EST.

Serebii notes that February 2022’s Pokémon Presents should last around 14 minutes. That’s not a huge amount of time to discuss new projects, but it’s enough to get a few exciting reveals out there. And fans already have ideas about what they’d like to see. Where can they watch the announcements and updates?

Where to stream the February 2022 Pokémon Presents

Anyone hoping to catch the February 2022 Pokémon Presents can stream it on The Official Pokémon YouTube channel. They can watch the event live or find it among the channel’s video uploads later on.

Previous iterations of Pokémon Presents currently reside on the franchise’s YouTube as well. It’s an ideal hub for trainers — one that includes news updates, trailers, game videos, and clips from the Pokémon anime series.

What else will join the company’s lineup of content? Fans have a few theories on what the event could unveil.

There’s no word on what February 2022’s Pokémon Presents will feature, but fans took to the internet to speculate about the possible reveals. After the success of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, many are wondering if a DLC could be in the cards. Recent rumors suggest it’s already on Game Freak’s radar, so perhaps those reports will be proven correct.

The franchise also tends to release a new generation every two or three years, which means Gen 9 could be on the horizon. Sword and Shield introduced Gen 8 back in 2019. Because of this, many think we could see a Gen 9 announcement — though it does seem a tad soon after all the releases Game Freak dropped over the past year.

Finally, rumors of a Detective Pikachu sequel or Pokémon Stadium remake have been making the rounds. There’s no telling whether there’s any truth to them, but fans will find out when the live stream takes place.

Pokémon Presents is set to begin on Feb. 27 at 9 a.m. EST.
