Power Book IV: Force is all about Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) stepping into his own as the sole leader of his own organization. Tommy left New York for a fresh start in Chicago, but he didn’t expect to find some major family ties in the city. Making a pit stop in Windy City, proved that his grandmother wasn’t actually dead as his mother Kate (Patricia Kalember) had told him. Moreover, Tommy also discovered that he has a half-brother JP (Anthony Fleming) who she abandoned.

Now, Tommy has discovered a secret about his brother that will certainly come to the surface.

Who is JP in ‘Power Book IV: Force’?

When Tommy arrived in Chicago, he wanted a fresh start. What he didn’t expect to learn was that he had a brother whom his mother had never told him about. When we are first introduced to JP, it’s clear that he’s down on his luck. Going through a divorce, being estranged from his son, and seeing his club getting repeatedly vandalized has drained JP’s morale and his bank account.

Though Tommy tries to offer his brother financial assistance, JP isn’t down for any handouts. Instead, the jazz musician has agreed to work in the lab alongside Liliana (Audrey Esparza) to make Dahlia.

There is also the issue of D-Mac (Lucien Cambric), a soldier for CBI, who knows he’s JP’s son, even though JP doesn’t recognize him.

JP will be shocked when he finds out D-Mac is his son

Now fans are trying to decide if JP will find out the truth about D-Mac this season.

“But I just know that D-Mac was someone – or is someone – who’s very important to JP,” Fleming told Digital Spy. “Becoming a father meant everything to him, and he loves his son very much. And his son has been missing, essentially, for 14 years. He’s had no clue where he is, or what type of person he’s becoming. Is he safe? You know, things that, as a parent, you want to know [about] your child. And JP has had no connection to this child. And if he finds out who he is, and he finds him again, I know he’ll never do anything to lose him.”

We just don’t know if D-Mac is going to be able to forgive JP.

Will Kate come to Chicago in ‘Power Book IV: Force’?

Now that JP has tracked down Kate and she’s learned of her mother’s death, it’s likely that she will turn up in Chicago. Kate probably thinks her mother left her some money or property. However, she’s in for a rude awakening if she does come to the Windy City to face the son she abandoned and the one she thought was dead and buried.

Knowing Kate, she’s bound to cause chaos with JP, Tommy, CBI and even the Flynn family.
