Tommy Egan fans were just treated to a first look at Joseph Sikora as the returning gangster. It’s been almost two years since he moved away from New York to start over. Starz has released a teaser image for Tommy Egan’s spinoff

The photo was shared on Monday, Oct. 4, on the official Instagram and Twitter pages of the Starz series. It shows Tommy sitting in what appears to be a bar with a questioning look on his face. “Damn, we missed this face. #PowerForce coming early 2022,” read the caption.

Though it’s not much, the post had fans pumped, as many shared their excitement for what’s to come. “We readyyyyyy,” read one comment. “Finna be da best damn power ever 🔥🔥🔥🔥” said another.

Sikora also hyped up the show. “🙌🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥 here we GOOOOOOO 🚦🚦🚦,” he wrote, prompting a comment from the official show page reading, “they won’t know what hit ’em.”

What to expect from ‘Power Book IV: Force’

Force comes after Power Book III: Raising Kanan, a prequel series examining the earlier years of Kanan Stark before his tragic death in the original Power show. Set after the murder of his best friend James “Ghost” St. Patrick, it’ll follow Tommy as he tries to pick up the pieces and rebuild his life.

“What you can expect on the show is a lot more of the same from Tommy,” Sikora previously said during a conversation on Instagram Live, “but he’s got nothing. So remember, he left New York with nothing. He left New York with a bunch of money, some guns, some burners, and that’s it. Just everything he had on his person. So you’re gonna watch Tommy rebuild himself in real-time.”

Sikora seems to be the only original actor in the cast of Power Book IV: Force. Aside from him, the series will feature Isaac Keys (Get Shorty), Kris D. Lofton (Empire), Lili Simmons (Ray Donovan), Gabrielle Ryan (The Haves and the Have Nots), Shane Harper (Hightown), and Anthony Fleming III (Prison Break), among others. But Sikora said in the same Instagram Live that old characters could pop up, including Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.)

The show will return to Starz on Sunday, Nov. 21.

Sometime after Ghost and Force, Starz will debut the last spinoff, Power Book V: Influence, which centers on Larenz Tate’s Rashad Tate. The last we heard, the show was in pre-production.
