After an exciting string of episodes, it’s down to the finale of Power Book IV: Force Season 1. When the show first hit Starz, Tommy Egan had just lost Ghost and was trying to build something new in Chicago. He struggled to find his place between the city’s two biggest crews, the Chicago Brothers Incorporated (CBI) and the Irish mob, led by the Flynns. But a new drug on the streets, Dahlia, has made him one of the hottest dealers in Chicago.

Of course, that has also made him a threat to CBI and the Flynn family, leading to a violent showdown in the upcoming episode. See the trailer for the Power Book IV: Force Season 1 finale here.

Tensions boil over in ‘Power Book IV: Force’ Season 1 Episode 10

After Gloria’s death in Power Book IV: Force, Vic is out for revenge. Convinced by Walter Flynn that Tommy and the Serbians facilitated the hit, he and his father ordered in men from Dublin to help strike back.

When Tommy learned about this from Claudia Flynn, he went to Diamond Sampson for protection. Because the last attack went wrong, Diamond wasn’t willing to put himself or his crew at risk again. He knows Jenard already wants to overthrow him and needs to be more strategic about things.

With no other option, Tommy met with the Serbians and made the agreement with them. Claudia saw them talking and thought it meant Tommy had indeed been working with the Serbs. She told her father that she’s sorry she ever doubted him and agreed to the hit on Tommy.

Back on his side of the city, Tommy learned that D-Mac had met with Cousin Buddy earlier to set up distribution in Gary, Indiana. Despite his intentions, his actions left Tommy furious. Tommy wants him to have a better life not just as a friend, but as his uncle. He explained that they are connected through his dad, JP.

Once D-Mac processed that, he asked Tommy to take him to JP. But as they were walking, someone pulled up and started shooting, striking D-Mac. At the hospital, JP showed up, confused about why Tommy called him. He was shocked to learn that D-Mac is his son and angry at Tommy for keeping that from him.

In the trailer for the April 17 episode, JP asks Tommy to find out who shot JP. The audience knows that this was likely Jenard, who was pissed to find out that D-Mac had cut him out of the Gary deal. But it’s unclear if he’s even alive, as Tommy was able to kill one of the men who ambushed them.

In another scene, the Flynns are seen moving forward with the attack against Tommy, while CBI members make a move on Diamond’s barbershop. Watch the clip below.
