Tommy Egan (Joesph Sikora) is getting his bearings in a brand new city on Power Book IV: Force and he’s already running into trouble. Amid the deaths of James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) and LaKeisha Grant (La La Anthony), the ill-tempered gangster is looking for something new.

However, he doesn’t expect his past to come out punching him in the face. Though he hasn’t been in Chicago long, Tommy has already encountered a familiar face. But who is Liliana?

What is ‘Power Book IV: Force’ about?

With no one left in New York that he cares about, Tommy has left the Big Apple and set his sights on a new city, Chicago. Determined to start from scratch and build his own empire without Ghost at his side, Tommy is going to learn that Chicago might be a big city, but it’s very different from New York.

“One step leads to another and Tommy quickly finds himself in Chicago’s drug game, inserting himself between the city’s two biggest crews,” the Starz press release said via Deadline. “In a city divided by race, Tommy straddles the line, ultimately becoming the lynchpin that not only unites them – but holds the power to watch them crumble. Tommy uses his outsider status to his advantage, breaking all the local rules and rewriting them on his quest to become the biggest drug dealer in Chicago.”

So far he’s already found himself entangled with the Flynn family who run the city, and the Chicago Brothers Incorporated (CBI) gang.

Who is Liliana?

In the second episode of Power Book IV: Force which is titled, “King of the Goddamn Hill” fans were reintroduced to Lilianna (Audrey Esparza) an original Power character. As the episode opened, Tommy was attacked by a woman with a massive scar on her face. Their fight is interrupted by a police officer. However, Tommy tracks her down later and the pair decide to call a truce.

For those who might have forgotten, Lilianna was introduced in the pilot episode of Power as a drug runner for Tommy and Ghost. However, in episode 102, she was attacked at knifepoint by Pink Sneakers who had been hired by a then-incarcerated Kanan Stark (Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson) to cause chaos and confusion in Tommy and Ghost’s drug operation.

After her attack, Tommy wanted Lilianna killed since her scar was a major point of exposure for their organization. Instead, Ghost promoted her to launderer/money counter without consulting Tommy.

Now Liliana has appeared in Tommy’s life yet again and we’re not sure how trustworthy she’s going to be knowing that Tommy wanted to have her killed.

Will Omari Hardwick appear on ‘Power Book IV: Force’?

With past characters like Liliana showing up in Force, fans still want to know if Hardwick will reprise his role as Ghost in the new series. Though we believe Ghost is actually dead, he could still very well appear to Tommy in a dream. It seems like Sikora isn’t opposed to the idea.

“He very well might,” Sikora said on Instagram Live. “He could also make an appearance as a live character you never know.”

Since Hardwick hasn’t appeared in Power Book II: Ghost, we’re going to say that this is fairly unlikely, but you never know with the Power Universe.
