For the past few weeks, millions of people have been practicing self-isolation due to the recent outbreak of coronavirus. Times have been tough as people test positive for the illness and everyone in the world is doing whatever they can in order to come to the assistance of those in need as we all struggle to figure out the next steps for dealing with the current crisis.

It wasn’t too long ago that the news broke that Prince Charles had tested positive for COVID-19, and fans everywhere expressed their concern for the future king. Like the rest of us, the members of the royal family are self-isolating, homeschooling their children, and working remotely in order to do their part to help stop the spread of the virus.

So many of us have wondered how Prince Charles is coping and hoping that he is getting better and stronger every day. Now, we have learned that the prince’s coronavirus isolation hobby is extremely relatable.

The pandemic and Prince Charles’ diagnosis

It seems as if the coronavirus pandemic came on so quickly that it sent a shock throughout the entire world. Almost without much warning, people were scrambling to stock up on food and other necessary supplies as medical professionals and other essential employees worked tirelessly around the clock to ensure that everyone had what they needed.

People began following the news very closely on a regular basis, and sure enough, it wasn’t long before schools and businesses were closed indefinitely, and everyone was advised to practice social distancing and go into a period of self-isolation, only leaving their homes if it was legitimately necessary. Although we are experiencing difficult times, everyone has kept a positive attitude, and millions of royal fans were saddened upon hearing the news in March that Prince Charles had tested positive for COVID-19.

How is Prince Charles currently doing after his battle with coronavirus?

The heir to the British throne is 71 years old and had been experiencing symptoms before he was tested. Whenever anyone, regardless of age, tests positive for the virus, there is great concern over their well-being, which was, of course, the case with Prince Charles.

His diagnosis was over a month ago, so how he is doing now? According to CNN, the future king has fully recovered and is doing wonderful. He and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall who just celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary, are finished with their period of self-isolation and are thankful that Prince Charles is doing so much better.

Prince Charles had been staying at his Balmoral Estate in Scotland, where he was getting rest and treatment under the watchful eyes of his doctor. According to BBC, the prince was in great spirits while he recovered from the virus, keeping in contact with his mother, Queen Elizabeth, and his two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, throughout his period of self-isolation.

Prince Charles’ coronavirus isolation hobby is extremely relatable

We all know that being on lockdown and self-isolation is what is best for everyone right now. While it is anything but easy, people around the world have been adamant about doing what needs to be done to get to the end of the pandemic. There is no doubt that we are all experiencing a little boredom as we stay at home, and Prince Charles is a perfect example of this.

So, what is he doing, and how is it extremely relatable? According to Us Weekly, Prince Charles took the time to watch funny videos as he was self-isolating. He has also expressed how thankful he is for the technology that allowed him to do this, noting that it is helpful to so many to be able to work from home and also keep themselves amused just as he has.Â
