Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Becoming Irrelevant and ‘Less Important,’ Expert Claims

Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex may have slipped so much in popularity that they are quickly becoming less relevant and “less important,” one royal expert claims. A recent poll supports the idea that royal fans are not as invested in the Sussexes as they once were, finding that Harry’s popularity has plummeted and Meghan is more of a liability.

Royal photographer thinks they have become irrelevant

During a chat with TalkRadio’s Dan Wootton, royal commentator and photographer Arthur Edwards shared his thoughts about Prince Harry and Meghan’s future and how the public now perceives them.

Their days of soaring popularity seem behind them now that they have exited the royal family and Edwards believes they are becoming “less important” since their departure.

“I think they are becoming an old mess of a non-event, Dan,” Edwards revealed. “They have been isolating themselves in Los Angeles, a city of a thousand celebrities.”

He continued, “They don’t care anymore and they just make these statements every other couple of days just to make themselves stay relevant but in fact, they won’t know they are becoming less and less important.”

Will Prince Harry and Meghan rejoin the royal family?

Wootton asked Edwards his thoughts on whether Prince Harry would rejoin the royal family and he had a mixed response about the Sussexes’ future.

“The thing about losing the title, if he does come back and I hope he does, I think the Prince of Wales will want him included in the hierarchy,” Edwards noted. With Meghan, he said, “I’m not sure we will see her again, I don’t know if she will ever come back here.”

He added, “Meghan had no intention of staying and she is bringing Harry along. I just hope Prince Harry comes to his senses soon.”

Wootton also discussed a poll that he had conducted on his show asking about the Sussexes’ royal titles. “I just wanted to tell you Arthur about a poll we ran on the show,” the host noted. “It actually had over 12,000 votes and the question we asked was should Meghan Markle and Prince Harry be stripped of their royal titles after challenging the Queen over the Commonwealth.”

“Even I was shocked with the results Arthur, 92% of people saying yes,” he revealed. “This seems like a spectacular own goal for the Sussex.”

Prince Harry and Meghan aren’t as popular as they used to be

According to a report from The Sun, another poll about the royal family members’ popularity supported Edwards’ remarks about Prince Harry and Meghan.

The poll results indicated that, while Prince Harry isn’t the least popular royal, only 35% of respondents found him to be a positive asset.

Meghan had only a 38% approval rating in the poll, with 51% of respondents saying she’s a liability to the royal family.
