Prince Louis of Cambridge is the youngest child of Duchess Kate Middleton and Prince William. The youngest son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s full name is Louis Arthur Charles. The baby prince’s first name honors his late paternal great-great-great-uncle Lord Louis Mountbatten. Prince Philip’s father figure was assassinated in 1979 by a bomb planted by members of the Provisional Irish Republican Army. His brother, Prince George and his father, Prince William also have the name Louis as one of their middle names.
