A ton of attention has been paid to Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Prince William, and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge’s older children. However, now that the royal couple’s youngest child, Prince Louis has turned two, all eyes are on the pint-sized royal.

Though we’ve gotten glimpses of the little royal at events like Trooping of Colour and during family photos, the Cambridges’ birthday photos of their youngest son prove he has his very own fiery personality.

While Princess Charlotte has been known to be a bit more mischievous than her more reserved older brother, Prince George, it appears that Prince Louis has his very own outgoing personality.

Prince Louis is enjoying this special time with his family

Amid quarantine and social distancing, the entire Cambridge family is hunkering down at Amner Hall in Norfolk, England. Kate and William have been balancing homeschooling their children and keeping up with their royal duties via Zoom.

The pair have also spoken about staying connected with family and friends through video calling. However, for Prince Louis, who is adjusting to this new schedule, the allure of the red button on the video calls has become all-consuming.

“For some reason, he sees the red button and he always wants to press the red button,” William told the BBC. Kate added, “It’s so true. And I think your father and my parents and our families… have really loved keeping in touch with the children because it’s really hard. It gets a bit hectic, I am not going to lie, with a 2-year-old.”

Prince Louis celebrated his second birthday in quarantine

Though the Duchess of Cambridge was forced to cancel Prince Louis’ planned birthday celebration because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, that didn’t stop the little one from living his very best life.

The royal couple posted a series of photos of Prince Louis fingerprinting as well as the aftermath of him getting the paint all over his face. “Children have got such stamina,” Kate told BBC. “I don’t know how, honestly. You get to the end of the day and you write a list of all the things you’ve done in that day. You’ve pitched a tent, take the tent down again, cook, bake, you get to the end of the day. They’ve had a lovely time. It’s amazing how much you can cram into one day, that’s for sure.”

Prince Louis is super outgoing

At just two, it looks like the little prince is eager to be around his older siblings. Now that his entire family is at home with him all day, we can see why the toddler prince would be absolutely bursting with excitement.

“Louis loves his older brother and sister and always tries to follow them,” royal expert Katie Nicholl told OK! Magazine. “He talks a lot now and is holding on. He has quite an outgoing personality from what I was told. He is certainly not shy.”

We can’t wait to see more of Prince Louis’ personality in the coming years.
