It seems like just yesterday Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge introduced the world to their second child, Princess Charlotte, outside of St. Mary’s Hospital in London.

Over the years we watched the little princess grow up before our eyes. Now as she marks another birthday we’re revealing some facts you may not have known about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s only daughter. Plus, which other royals were born in May as well.

Facts about Princess Charlotte

William and Kate welcomed Charlotte on May 2, 2015. Prince George’s younger sister is fourth in the line of succession to the British throne. Other facts about the princess are that her favorite snack is olives and she loves to cook. Kate previously said that both Charlotte and George like to make “cheesy pasta” and that “one stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in.” The duchess shared that they have made pizza dough together as well.

Charlotte is also a fan of the color pink. Hello! reported that during a royal engagement Kate spoke with a young student, Nevaeh, about colors. “She asked me what my favorite color is. I said pink and she said that’s Charlotte’s favorite color too,” Nevaeh recalled.

Another thing you may not have known about the princess is that she knows how to speak Spanish. Her nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo who is from Spain, has been teaching the Cambridge kids the language for years.

Charlotte is also really into gymnastics and dancing.

Charlotte has the same zodiac sign as Queen Elizabeth

Princess Charlotte’s birthdate makes her a Taurus. The earth sign is the same sign as her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, whose birthday is April 21.

According to CafeAstrology, Taurus women are “practical, classy, and tasteful.” Tauruses also tend to be very honest and good workers as it is one of the hardest-working signs in the zodiac. They usually make great friends, partners, and colleagues too.

In addition, people with this sign tend to have stability, power, and are sometimes rebellious.

Other royals born in May

Charlotte isn’t the only royal who was born in the month of May. Her cousin, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, was as well. Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s son, who’s seventh in the line of succession to the British throne, is also the same zodiac sign as his birthday is May 6. 

Princess Anne’s daughter, Zara Phillips, celebrates a birthday in the month too and the eldest granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth is a Taurus as well as she was born on May 15. Zara is an Equestrian and has been married to former Rugby player Mike Tindall since 2011. She’s also the godmother to the future king, Prince George, and is 19th in the line of succession.
