Priyanka Chopra Reveals How She Influences Nick Jonas’ Style
Priyanka Chopra and her husband, Nick Jonas, (who is one-third of the hit brother band, The Jonas Brothers) are easily one of Hollywood’s hottest couples. The pair are known for their endless support of one another as well as their impeccable red carpet looks. Chopra and Jonas both seem to have a flair for style and they are unafraid of making bold choices with their attire. One look at their wedding photos and fans can tell that they aren’t afraid to deviate from the norm when it comes to fashion.
In a recent interview with Elle, Chopra got candid about how she and her husband influence each other when it comes to style. The actress revealed that while they each have extremely unique tastes, they don’t have a ton of influence over what the other wears. Though Chopra sometimes asks Jonas for his opinion (and vice versa) ultimately, they give each other space and freedom to express their style in an authentic way.

“We have a lot of individuality when it comes to what we decide each on ourselves and, and we are very individualist people as well, in our professions. We come together in our lives in a big way and yes, that is majorly intertwined. So, if I choose an outfit, I guess I’d be like what do you think? And he’d be like what do you think? But we predominantly let each other have a very individual style. So, there’s unity about what we want to wear,” the 37-year-old confessed.
Chopra feels everyone expresses love differently
In fact, Chopra feels that giving your partner the freedom to express their personal style in a way that feels most comfortable to them is of the utmost importance. She is firmly against trying to change how your partner dresses simply because your personal style deviates from theirs.”Everyone has a different way of showing love, and I feel like changing the person you love is not the right way of letting yourself feel validated that that person has done something for you, I think it’s very important to let the people you love be themselves, and be absolutely comfortable. And love them for that. ” the Isn’t It Romantic actress shared.
The actress values quality time with her husband
Instead of focusing on how your partner looks, Chopra recommends simply spending quality time with them. She puts a lot of stock into doing activities together that both partners enjoy and places little emphasis on how people choose to dress. “So, I think more than being dressed up, and trying to get your boyfriend who probably doesn’t like a suit to wear one, I think more than that, it would be important to spend time with each other and figure out what is it that the two of you would like to do together. What is it that both of you would enjoy together, and that would make for an amazing Valentine’s Day and an amazing life,” the former beauty Queen adds. Chopra’s advice certainly seems to be working for her and the “Year 3000” singer thus far, so we’re sure their fans are taking note.
