When does ‘Project Runway’ Season 19 premiere on Bravo?

Bravo is set to welcome back Project Runway Season 19 as they have set Thursday, October 14 at 9 p.m. ET as the day viewers will be able to watch the premiere. Siriano is returning as a mentor to the 16 designers that will compete for a grand prize of $250,000 and other prizes. The judging panel will be composed of the fabulous Nina Garcia, Brandon Maxwell, and Elaine Welteroth.

In a press release by the cable network, they tease that the season premiere of Project Runway will be set up at the Lincoln Center in New York City. The judges will welcome all the contestants advising them of a twist that will make the competition feel real right from the beginning.

“The time is now for bold, bright, don’t-hold-back, in-your-face color, and the designers are divided into two teams to create cohesive collections of monochromatic high fashion looks celebrating color,” the press release says.

Guest judges that will be featured throughout the season include Taraji P. Henson, Gigi Hadid, Jason Wu, Christopher John Rogers, Wisdom Kaye, Billy Porter, Andy Cohen, and Karlie Kloss.

‘The Real Housewives’ crossover

Project Runway was a competition show that originated on Bravo and since its return, the cable network has changed drastically. The Real Housewives took over the channel and that’s the franchise that the network is now best known for. Since coming back, the show had not had many crossover moments — until now.

In a Project Runway first, there’s going to be a competition revolving around some of the iconic stars from the network designing a reunion outfit for the women. The trailer revealed which housewives were part of this challenge and it has gotten die-hard fans hyped up. From The Real Housewives of Potomac, the trailer previewed Gizelle Bryant, Wendy Osefo, and the Grand Dame herself, Karen Huger.

Also in the preview were stars from The Real Housewives of New York City — Luann de Lesseps and Leah McSweeney. Stars of The Real Housewives of Orange County will also be featured and they include Shannon Beador and Gina Kirschenheiter.
