Ralph Fiennes Doesn’t Want Anyone Else Playing Voldemort In ‘Harry Potter’
When fans think of Harry Potter, there are several things that come to mind straight away such as the magic, Hogwarts classes, and Harry’s fights with Voldemort. Though he is the villain, Voldemort is an important character in Harry Potter. Without his existence, the story would be a lot different.
Harry’s life would certainly be a lot simpler, but then we wouldn’t necessarily have the same story. Every good story needs conflict, after all. For every protagonist, there needs to be an antagonist, someone who is going against the main character and causing trouble for them.
Who is Voldemort, really?
Voldemort’s real name is Tom Marvolo Riddle. He, like Harry, found out he was a wizard just before he went to Hogwarts for the first time. The difference between him and Harry, however, is that Voldemort was always a bully, even as a child. While Harry would always do his best to help others, little Tom Riddle would always hurt others.
He scared the other kids in the orphanage, using his magical powers to harm them and stealing their things. Harry would never do anything like that, and that’s what makes Voldemort a villain and Harry a hero. Voldemort always hurts those who he doesn’t like, and while Harry isn’t perfect, he never harms innocent people.
Who plays Voldemort in the ‘Harry Potter’ movies?
Ralph Fiennes portrays Voldemort in the Harry Potter movies. And yes, he looks very different in real life compared to in the movies. His face must really be altered to play the role.
He’s a great actor and enjoys playing this role. Some actors love to play villains. He may be one of them, because he does it so well.
What did Ralph Fiennes say about the role of Voldemort?
Fiennes told ComicBook.com, that he “will be very possessive about Voldemort.” That makes sense, given that the role was an iconic one and definitely important for the actor. He also said that he “[doesn’t] want anyone else playing Voldemort.” Again, it makes sense, since the role is such a good one.
Why would he want anyone else to play it? Especially when he already knows the character so well. Fiennes probably enjoys playing the bad guy and being the character we all love to hate.
So if Harry Potter does ever continue, we can count on Ralph Fiennes to be our Voldemort. In fact, he won’t let anyone else near the role. And we wouldn’t have it any other way since he’s such a great actor. Harry Potter movies would not be the same without Fiennes as Voldemort, anyway.
One of the reasons Harry Potter is such a good story is because of Voldemort. Without him, there would be no drama. He’s the perfect villain for Harry to play off of. So let’s hope we get to see them play off of each other again.
Of course, we’d have to get Daniel Radcliffe to agree to pick up his wand again. And then we would be off and running again with another Harry Potter movie. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?
With Harry and Voldemort, it would be a great movie.
