The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is becoming a fan favorite of the franchise. There are six housewives highlighted – Jen Shah, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, Mary Cosby, and Lisa Barlow – and they’re all so different. One thing is certain: This series is bringing the drama. We’ve already dealt with a beef over a hospital smell, but now we have issues between two other housewives.

Whitney Rose and Lisa Barlow have their own beef

In episode 2, Whitney Rose has a vow renewal with her husband, Justin. She was married to someone else previously, but that changed when she had an affair with her boss, and current husband, who is 18 years older than her. They left their marriages to be together, and Whitney became pregnant, so they got married. The couple was excommunicated from the Mormon church for their affair, so you can say they risked it all for love.

For their party after the vow renewal, Whitney apparently called Lisa, who has a tequila brand called VIDA, and she was gifted some of the tequila for the occasion. At Meredith Marks’ birthday party, Whitney thanks Lisa in person for the liquor and for the bartenders who came as well. However, there was a little bit of a problem.

“They had fun too,” Whitney reveals about the bartenders that Lisa provided. Whitney tells the cameras that she “hired them to serve” her guests, “not themselves.”

“I just wanted to let you know that they got a little drunk,” she continues. She said it was “kind of a mess.” She mentions there was glass that was broken, and some of her husband’s whiskey from Ireland had been opened, along with some tequila.

Lisa reveals to the cameras that Whitney called and “basically asked” her for some tequila, which she provided. She says that if someone calls her asking to have VIDA tequila at an event, they’re asking for a “donation, or you would have gone to the liquor store.” She says she “generously” gave to her, “and it’s s*** on.”

Lisa insists that she won’t use those bartenders again, and Whitney says she really appreciated what she did. But Lisa finds Meredith and relays the whole thing to her. Almost immediately, Whitney realizes that Lisa seems upset with her.

Lisa mentions that she’s “mad.” She also adds: “That was going for my business. I’m not OK with that cause you go for my company.” She leaves the party early, but this issue isn’t over yet.

Whitney confronts Lisa and says she felt ‘threatened’

After the party, Whitney and Lisa apparently talked on the phone, and Whitney comes clean about it all to her cousin, Heather. “After the party, she calls me immediately, and proceeded to tell me, ‘Do not come after her entities,’” Heather says. “Then she threatens to use rumors, things that she’s heard about me against me.” She goes on to say that Lisa “accused” her of “being a swinger.”

Later, the housewives head to the slopes to go have some fun. After a fun day out, they all sit down for dinner, but the drama gets brought up again when Whitney tries to address the issue in front of everyone. She says that she “feels judged” by Lisa, who responds that she doesn’t “judge” her.

“Just I feel like you know we’ve had our like misunderstandings, disagreements,” Whitney begins. Lisa still wonders how she made Whitney “feel judged.”

Whitney clarifies, and reveals that she “felt a little threatened.” “When we had a conversation after Jen’s party, I just felt a little threatened,” she says.

Lisa bluntly tells her that if she feels that way, it’s because she feels threatened, and it isn’t because she actually threatened her. “I don’t threaten people,” she says back.

Lisa brings it back to their original conversation about the VIDA tequila she gave her. But Whitney says it was the conversation that followed that was the problem.

“It was the conversation afterwards where I felt like, ‘Don’t go there, or else I’m going to bring, you know, these rumors about you,” she admits.

Lisa states that she never said that, and she also mentions that she “doesn’t care enough” to judge her.

Heather and Lisa have words as well

Then Heather, Whitney’s cousin, gets involved, bringing up their own issues, like how Lisa tried to act like she really didn’t know Heather that well, even though they went to college together. Also, Lisa had eluded that Heather didn’t follow the honor code and possibly flashed someone back in the day.

Lisa also brings up an emoji that Heather sent her of a thumbs up that she took to mean “f*** you.” Heather reveals to producers that it actually was meant to mean “f*** you,” as Lisa thought.

Lisa does eventually say that if she made Heather “feel bad” that she’s “sorry.” She also apologizes to Whitney for the same thing.

They all agree to move on from the drama. We’ll have to see if that’s even possible at this point.
