‘RHOA’: After Kenya Moore Split, Marc Daly Is Reportedly Working on Reality Show About Love and Business
Kenya Moore of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is back with her shady ways on the Bravo hit reality series. Aside from returning for season 13 of the show, Moore has been dealing with a fractured marriage to Marc Daly. Sadly for the reality TV personality, the couple was not able to work things out and Daly announced they had definitely split up. Following the divorce, Daly is working on a new show centered around business and finding love.
Why did Marc Daly and Kenya Moore call it quits?
In a shocking revelation, Daly confirmed that he had split from Moore. Fans of RHOA were not entirely surprised as season 13 started with Moore seeing a divorce lawyer. Things between the couple were seemingly unwell as their baby’s face has been blurred from the show, meaning Daly most likely didn’t consent to have her on TV.
“After recently attending mediation, Kenya and I have agreed to end our marriage,” Daly said in a statement to The Root. “I will always have great care for her and look forward to amicably continuing to co-parent our daughter Brooklyn with an abundance of love and wisdom.”
Daly said that he would now be focus on helping businesses in Brooklyn out as they have been heavily hit by the pandemic. The entrepreneur also mentioned that he was in the process of creating a “community hub” to help those in need.
“My primary focus will continue to be helping the underserved and people of color in Brooklyn to recover from the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic,” Daly continued. “This focus will take shape through using my restaurant as a ‘Community Hub’ where positive and diverse perspectives on important topics such as economic empowerment, social activism, and political engagement can be highlighted in a safe and productive forum. I’m blessed to be a positive change agent for not just my family but also my community.”
Marc Daly, open for love?
After announcing he had broken up from Moore, Daly has been rumored to be looking for love. According to a report from Bossip, Daly is already making his next move and it would bring him back to reality TV.
Fans of RHOA were treated to appearances by Daly throughout season 12 of the Bravo series. He stopped appearing on the show when he and Moore had a major fallout where he walked out of an event he organized to promote his charity work.
Daly did not have control over his edit on RHOA but that would change if this new project goes forward. Moore’s ex would be an executive producer on the series and feature Black business owners. There would be aspects of Daly’s life where he would be open to finding love. As of now, there’s no word on what network this show would air in.
As for Moore, she has kept things civil on social media regarding the father of her baby. In this instance it is for the best as they will now work on co-parenting baby Brooklyn. Since the baby cannot appear on-screen without being blurred, Moore has had less scenes showcasing her home life.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
