Moore’s journey to stardom began as a teen in her hometown of Detroit, Michigan. Her modeling career started at the age of 14, then by her 20s, she was working the beauty pageant circuit. In 1993, she won Miss Michigan USA, then later would be crowned the Miss USA winner.

Following her beauty pageant wins, Moore embarked on an acting career. One of her prominent roles came in the 1995 Whitney Houston film Waiting to Exhale. Moore’s other acting credits included the 2003 Tyler Perry comedy Deliver Us From Eva. She also had guest roles on shows such as The Jamie Foxx Show and Girlfriends.

In 2012, Moore became the newest cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Moore’s been viewed as a villain due to creating drama with castmates Porsha Williams and Phaedra Parks.
