‘RHOA’: Eva Marcille Fires Back At Nene Leakes As Feud Erupts
Nene Leakes poked at her co-star from The Real Housewives of Atlanta and she has now woken up. Eva Marcille and the OG of Atlanta are in the middle of a feud that is sizzling. It all started when Leakes talked about the peach that should be axed from the Bravo reality show. Eva Marcille is the name that came out of her mouth and the quarrel was ignited.
What did Nene Leakes say?
Leakes sat down for an interview and said Marcille has not “carried any weight this season” and should be replaced next year.
“We have a great cast right now except for one person, I think,” Leakes told Entertainment Tonight. “I think only one person on this cast doesn’t seem to have carried any weight this season. And I think that’s very obvious who that person is, and I don’t think they actually sit in the cast that well.”
Marcille was notably absent from the cast trip to Greece as she was close to term on her pregnancy and wasn’t able to travel. However, that didn’t stop Leakes from saying she didn’t bring anything to the cast.
“I don’t feel like Eva brings that much to the cast,” Leakes added. “I’m just being honest. It’s really like, when you look at a show like, everybody — like the whole cast — is away, and you don’t miss the person at all, it’s sort of like, we didn’t even know you were here, you know? And all season, doing a lot of scenes from FaceTime, that’s been the last couple of seasons … So, If I had to change, I would change her.”

The America’s Next Top Model alum clapped back shortly after the Leakes interview started making the rounds. Although Marcille didn’t address her co-star by name, all of the fans interpreted it as a reaction to Leakes.
“Oooooh, she’s bothered,” Marcille is heard saying in an Instagram post and laughing.
Later, Marcille went live on Instagram where she touched on the subject with more detail and ripped into what Leakes said.
“First and foremost, I was not in Greece because I was pregnant,” Marcille said. “Now, Nene, whose 55, maybe doesn’t remember being pregnant because that was 20 years ago for her. But I’m a 35-year-old woman with my family and my beautiful husband and I’m continuing to make a family.”
The mother of three said she is representing another type of African-American woman, the opposite of who Leakes is.
“As far as my relevance on the show, I choose not to be ratchet. There’s already enough ratchet on the show, why do you need 2?” she continued. “I do me and represent the other part of black women that are smart, astute, well-spoken.”
Marcille ended her rant by throwing more shade and amping up the RHOA reunion.
“If I’m that boring and you spent time in your interview talking about me because your storyline is the fact that you have no storyline. If I do remember correctly, even though I wasn’t in Greece, I was on FaceTime and I still got a check unlike you who missed seven episodes this entire season. This reunion is going to be lit. Glue your wig all the way down sweetheart because it is going down,” she continued.
