‘RHOA’ Star Kandi Burruss Gives Shoutout To Meghan McCain After ‘The View’ Praise
Kandi Burruss and the ladies of The Real Housewives of Atlanta had a hot and steamy episode recently. The cast traveled to South Carolina for a girls getaway to celebrate Cynthia Bailey. Burruss organized a bachelorette party that got out of control. The episode was so spicy that even Meghan McCain of The View praised it on the ABC talk show, which Burruss acknowledged.
What is stripper-gate?
The RHOA incident is now called stripper-gate as things got heated when an exotic male dancer gave the ladies a private show. Everything was all fun and games until the cameras were forced to shut down after Burruss requested it.
“Hopefully, we can get you guys to turn off the cameras for a little while so that we can actually have fun,” Burruss said during the episode.
Kenya Moore explained on the RHOA: After Show why the ladies decided to turn off the cameras.
“I’m not sure why the cameras needed to be turned off because if you’re just watching a show, you’re watching a show, you’re not really doing anything. If you’re at a strip club, everyone can see what you’re doing,” Moore said.
Porsha Williams explained that she wanted a closer look at Bolo and it was something that he wouldn’t show in front of the cameras.
Meghan McCain is obsessed
The View takes on the latest “Hot Topics” in politics and pop culture. For those of you that watch the morning show, know that McCain is a die-hard fan. She has made multiple appearances on the Andy Cohen-hosted show Watch What Happens Live to talk about everything Bravo-related.
When Whoopi Goldberg asked her fellow co-hosts if they preferred reality or drama during the pandemic, McCain didn’t hesitate to bring up RHOA‘s hot episode.
“I think everyone knows I’m a Real Housewives superfan and if you want some good escapism, The Real Housewives of Atlanta… the night before last, had this incredible episode where some of the cast members slept with a male stripper,” she said. “Kandi Burruss threw this incredible bachelorette party. And it’s some of the most compelling reality television I’ve ever seen in my life.”
Burruss saw The View and McCain’s praise and took to social media to give the latter a shoutout.
“Much love to The View, especially Meghan McCain for showing love to RHOA. I love that so many of you enjoyed the bachelorette party I threw. More parties coming your way soon,” Burruss wrote.
Tanya Sam and Porsha Williams involved with the stripper?
When the episode of RHOA was filmed in late 2020, it was leaked out that Porsha Williams and Tanya Sam were somehow involved with the stripper. The latter, who is engaged to get married, came out to put a stop to the rumors and denied the rumor that was circulating on social media.
“I will address this topic now and will not entertain this absurdity any further,” she posted. “The rumor circulating about me is NOT TRUE.”
After the leak, it was reported that Sam stopped filming for the show as she was extremely upset about the rumor. Sam was only a part-time housewife and has not promoted on social media her appearances on the show this season.
RHOA is expected to address the rumors that were leaked in upcoming episodes.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
