‘RHOBH’: Brandi Glanville Explains Why She Revealed Denise Richards Hookup Claims
Brandi Glanville is back on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and causing trouble. The former Bravo star dropped a bombshell on the latest episode of the reality series involving Denise Richards. Glanville claimed to have hooked up with the Wild Things actress right before the ladies were headed to their annual cast trip. The Celebrity Big Brother alum is now explaining why she spilled the tea in front of the cameras.
Brandi Glanville breaks her silence
Glanville made a guest appearance on RHOBH Season 9 as a friend of Richards. Fans were surprised to know the two had fallen out during season 10 as they seemed to have a genuine friendship. It was Glanville alleging she had an affair with Richards that made feud and distance themselves.
Many fans have called Glanville out for betraying Richards’ trust, if in fact, their hookup was real. Glanville has always presented herself as someone that doesn’t BS and calls things out. However, with her going behind Richards’ back, many are doubting she is telling the truth.
Glanville is now explaining why she dropped them bomb to Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp on the show.
“I was still on the fence about telling the other women. And then it came up at Kyle’s when Kim brought it up,” Glanville told Us Weekly. “And then I didn’t really have a choice but to share. We were legitimately going to my birthday dinner. The producers didn’t even know. Kim was the only person that knew. Kim didn’t tell Kyle.”

After the alleged encounter in April 2019, Glanville claims that Richards distanced herself. The latter only started talking to Glanville once she found out she would be making an appearance on RHOBH. They saw each other for the first time during Kyle’s event which was filmed for the show on November 2019.
“I was annoyed. And then Denise started talking s**t about all the other women like we were best friends,” she also told the publication.
Glanville also said that she has no regrets of putting it all out there in public and hopes to be able to talk to Richards about the issue.
“Ultimately it was a big relief and this was weighing me down and stressing me out,” Glanville also told Us Weekly. “I want it to be done, yes. I would love to have an honest conversation with her and then we can both put this behind us.”
Brandi Glanville skips the reunion
The time for Glanville and Richards to talk things out is unknown and it will certainly not happen at the RHOBH reunion. In a last minute change, Glanville was axed out of the reunion.
“We honestly came to a mutual decision that instead of going to the reunion, as I was set to do, that I would sit down separately with Andy [Cohen] and do a one-on-one,” Glanville explained on her podcast. “[Producers] didn’t want what happened last year where Camille [Grammer] came on in the end and everyone piled on Camille and Camille went crazy. Ultimately let these bi***es earn their paycheck.”
Glanville said she had done a tech rehearsal and she was ready to kick off at the RHOBH Season 10 reunion. However, she will be getting interviewed by Andy Cohen for an upcoming special where she will be able to talk about her side of the story.
