‘RHOBH’: Does Cedric Martinez Want to Have Drinks With Lisa Rinna?
Lisa Vanderpump’s former houseguest Cedric Martinez was tickled when Lisa Rinna from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills asked him for drinks via her Instagram story.
He shared a screenshot of the proposition and commented that he’d love to have cocktails with Rinna. “Absolutely @lisarinna drinks would be so devine! I am sure we could find something to talk about….,” he captioned the screenshot.
Someone commented on the post, urging Martinez to avoid Rinna. But he said the post was all in good fun. “Everybody take a deep breath ! It was funny to post and interesting that she would do that.. will it happen? Doubtful.. also what with women named Lisa that make then act…well…less lady like?”

Apparently, Rinna made the jocular Instagram offer to Martinez when his name arose during Vanderpump’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen appearance.
Martinez’s name was floated during the show when co-guest and Vanderpump’s close friend, Lance Bass discussed friends from the show. “Well, of course, Lisa is my bestie there, and we’ve known each other before she was even on the show,” Bass said. “We won’t talk about how we know each other. We don’t talk about that person.”
Vanderpump suggested they should talk about “that person” which is when host Andy Cohen surmised they were referring to Martinez. “I know how, Cedric, right?” Cohen said. “Don’t say that word! Don’t say the C word!” Vanderpump added.
Martinez and Rinna both have a dislike of Vanderpump
Rinna and Martinez were never on the series together, but they share a dislike for Vanderpump. Martinez appeared on season 1 of RHOBH, introduced almost as Vanderpump’s son. Toward the end of the season Martinez and Vanderpump had a falling out and he vanished from the series. He’s since said she manipulated and used him as leverage to get on the show, even nefariously using his relationship with Bass.
Vanderpump and Rinna’s falling out was years in the making. They initially clashed over confusion surrounding Yolanda Hadid’s Lyme disease diagnosis. But then came “puppygate” and the cast took sides. Dorit Kemsley believed that Vanderpump planted stories in the press to make her look like a bad dog owner. Kemsley adopted a dog from Vanderpump’s dog rescue, but then later re-homed the dog. The dog was found in a shelter and Vanderpump had to re-take possession of the pup.
Rinna must have known producers planned to create a new series around Vanderpump’s dog rescue. She took to her Instagram story to share that if she was part of building this new series due to the drama surrounding puppygate, she should at least get paid. NBCUniversal’s new streaming service, Peacock recently announced the new show, Vanderpump Dogs.
The entire cast accused Vanderpump of lying about planting stories. Vanderpump left the series, refusing to appear at her last reunion.
