It’s been over a year since The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills said goodbye to one of it’s OG cast members, Lisa Vanderpump. The show has gone on, but it just hasn’t been the same without the British reality star. Though Vanderpump has moved on and is still pursuing her own ventures, does she miss RHOBH?

Lisa was cut from episodes of ‘RHOBH’

Fans started noticing that something was up toward the end of Vanderpump’s last season when she started showing up on screen less and less.

“Lisa is extremely hurt that several scenes that she filmed for RHOBH have been cut because it’s all about her philanthropy work which she loves to proudly show off,” a source close to the show told HollywoodLife at the time. “She feels that since there’s no drama, they got cut, but she wants to show off that side of her life and is really disappointed that those scenes got cut because that’s a big part of her life as a real housewife. If she doesn’t show to the reunion, this could be a big reason as to why. She’s quite upset over it.”

Vanderpump did end up skipping the reunion, which caused even more strife between her and her former castmates.

Lisa Vanderpump quit amid personal turmoil

The year before Vanderpump officially quit, she asked executive producer Andy Cohen for time off after her brother Mark died by suicide.

“[Andy] said, ‘You know, I think we should’ve given you a year off when you asked for it,’” Vanderpump once told Entertainment Tonight. “He said, ‘I don’t think you were in a mental state where you were really prepared to deal with it,’ it was very emotional … ‘With hindsight, we probably should’ve given you the year off.’

“I wasn’t as prepared for combat as I should’ve been,” she said.

Ultimately, Vanderpump’s personal family issues came at the worst time. During Vanderpump’s last season of the show, all of the women turned against her during “puppygate” after a dog that Dorit Kemsley adopted from Vanderpump Dogs ended up in a shelter. All of that drama paired with what Vanderpump was dealing with personally was just too much for her to handle.

“I made the decision to leave,” she told Us Weekly. “It was a very difficult year for me, personally and professionally. I had wonderful things happen this year, opening up and TomTom and the cocktail garden in Vegas. The Housewives, it’s just, it’s emotionally too difficult to deal with.”

Does Lisa Vanderpump miss ‘RHOBH’?

This year has brought a lot of change to Vanderpump’s world. When she quit RHOBH, she had more time to focus on her show, Vanderpump Rules. But earlier this year, several cast members were let go from the show for their past racially charged indiscretions. All of the firings have put the future of Vanderpump Rules in limbo.

“She never thought ‘Vanderpump Rules’ wouldn’t be back and she seems to be missing filming [the new season],” a source recently told HollywoodLife. “You could say she misses RHOBH, because she wants to be working, but she doesn’t miss the ladies. She misses being on a show though.”
