Kyle Richards and Garcelle Beauvais from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are in a little Twitter feud. Both Housewives have been going back and forth in the media taking little digs at each other. Richards is the last remaining OG cast member, while Beauvais recently joined the show. The last shade came after Richards reacted to a comment made by Beauvais on the show.

What did Garcelle Beauvais say?

Richards has been live-tweeting with fans as the new RHOBH episodes premiere. During the episode that aired on May 20, Beauvais had crossed words with Richards, and things didn’t end well.

The newbie called out Richards for not taking the time to get to know her and ignoring what she says. However, Richards defended herself by saying that it’s been hard to connect with her as she’s always busy working and they haven’t interacted much.

Beauvais, Lisa Rinna, and Denise Richards left the party early. On their ride back home, the Coming To America actress shaded Richards’ outfit by calling it “hideous.”

Richards reacted on Twitter while watching the episode and shaded her right back.

“Garcelle snickering that my outfit is hideous while wearing stretchy purple knee-high boots with a pink suit dress… that her stylist picked for her,” Richards said in a since-deleted tweet.

When a fan noted that she actually liked Beauvais’ outfit, the latter actually replied, clapping back at Richards.

“Thank you Dorothy, fashion is supposed to be fun,” Beauvais wrote.

Another fan noticed that Richards had deleted her tweet shading Beauvais and called the former out who explained why she eliminated the post.

“I deleted it because I didn’t think it was nice,” Richards replied.

How did Kyle Richards and Garcelle Beauvais end up feuding?

The slight digs between Richards and Beauvais stem from an appearance the latter had on Watch What Happens Live. During her interview with host Andy Cohen, she played a game to reveal her first impressions of each of her castmates. When Cohen asked who was the “least welcoming” and the one with the “biggest ego,” Beauvais named Richards.

“I was really surprised,” Richards said on WWHL that aired on April 29. “My husband and I were watching and he said, ‘Why is she talking like that?’ and I said ‘I have no idea.’ If she felt like that I wish she would say it to my face instead of saving it for Watch What Happens Live.”

Richards was under the impression that she and Beauvais had no beef and was taken aback by her responses. The fashion designer is now ready to take the drama to the reunion once they film it.

“I think that she came in and was just like, ‘I better have something with someone.’ Like I said, if she felt that, she didn’t say anything like that to my face. Now I know what I’m dealing with and we will address it at the reunion,” Richards added.

Garcelle Beauvais clarifies the situation

For Beauvais, it was all a game she was playing and didn’t mean to upset Richards.

“I’m sorry that she felt hurt, but it’s not really about her being unwelcoming,” Beauvais told Page Six. “It was more of the fact that she never took the time to get to know me.”

“I was in-and-out of the series a lot, which people haven’t seen yet, but I felt like the times when we were together, there was never any interest, any curiosity into my life,” she added. “To have a friendship, it’s got to be a two-way street.”
