Richards, who was an original cast member, is spending more time out of the spotlight and with family off of the show. She was a main cast member for five seasons, returning as a guest on and off. Richards appeared on the series last season during her sister’s Halloween party.

One main reason why Richards retreated from the series was to address substance abuse issues but also focus on her family. Viewers watched her painful struggle as her sister, Kyle Richards was often trying to lend her support, but the two would often fight to the point where they stopped speaking on a number of occasions. Richards opened up on Instagram, sharing that she’s getting to know her inner child.

‘A letter to my inner child

Richards penned an ode to her inner child, as someone who is getting to know herself better and understand her complexities.
