Does the ‘RHOBH’ production have safety protocols?

Rumors were heavy about two weeks ago around the new season of RHOBH. Reports surged saying that filming for the show was halted after several crew members tested positive for COVID-19. It was returning cast member Garcelle Beauvais who broke the news officially about what was happening behind-the-scenes.

“We shot for Housewives on Tuesday, Tuesday night we got home and found out that a few people in our crew tested positive for COVID,” Beauvais shared in a clip for The Real shared by Entertainment Tonight.

Beauvais is coming back for a second season to the Bravo reality series. She explained on the daytime talk show that there are safety guidelines that everyone is following to keep the cast and crew safe.

“We get tested at least three times a week,” Beauvais explained. “We get tested before we shoot. You know, my kids get tested, I get tested, anybody who’s in my household, and you know, we did the right things, but at the same time, it just shows you that this virus — you can touch something, you can… you know, it’s not necessarily just from people.”

The Coming to America actress said that all the cast was recommended to isolate as they had been in contact with the people that tested positive. At this moment Beauvais didn’t say who were the people that had been affected by the coronavirus.

Days later, Richards shared a beautiful family photo with all of her family. The reality TV personality finally broke her silence about her diagnosis revealing that she had tested positive for the virus.

“I love these people so much,” Richards captioned the Instagram photo. “Some of you may have heard I have COVID, I got it after these photos were taken.”

“Since I was diagnosed I have been separated from my family in order to keep them healthy,” she added. “Unfortunately Sophia also got it. We will stay in isolation until it’s safe to see the family and others again. I can’t wait to hug them.”
