‘RHOBH’ Season 11 Cast: Kathy Hilton Rumored To Be Joining Sister Kyle Richards
As The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills look forward to starting filming season 11, there are names that are popping up to join the cast. One prominent name rumored to be in talks for the reality series is Kathy Hilton. The latter already has ties to the show with sister Kyle Richards being the last OG of the Bravo franchise. Could it be that fans will get to witness more sisterly feuds?
Is Kathy Hilton really joining the show?
When RHOBH premiered in 2010, Richards and her sister Kim Richards were the center of the drama. They both had a rocky relationship which was documented for the Bravo cameras. For viewers, it was interesting to see the dynamic between the two. Not only were they Housewives on a reality series, but they also have a sisterly bond that transcends the show.
Having Hilton join the show would engrossing to viewers as they will be able to see what kind of relationship she has with Richards. However, Hilton’s role is not going to be of a full-time housewife but that of a “friend of.” This means that she would do confessionals and would be involved in the drama surrounding the ladies, but there won’t be a deep dive into her life.
“The offer’s out, but we’re told Kathy hasn’t made a decision,” TMZ reported adding that Hilton is “definitely interested” but hasn’t committed yet.
Hilton would be no stranger to RHOBH as she has made appearances on the show throughout its 10-season run. However, her on-camera participation has been short cameos acknowledging that she’s present.
Is Kris Jenner joining?
Another household name that has been thrown in the mix of possible Housewives is Kris Jenner’s. The latter’s name came up right after Denise Richards had announced she was not returning and after Jenner confirmed Keeping Up with The Kardashians was ending after 20 seasons.
Richards has close ties to Jenner as well. Fans also know Jenner’s friend Faye Resnick who has been part of RHOBH throughout the years as Richards’s confidant. Many of the show’s devotees feel that Jenner would be a perfect fit for the reality series.
Andy Cohen recently addressed fans hoping they would cast Jenner for season 11.
“I think it would be a huge get too, and by the way, she is already connected with the cast,” Cohen said on his SiriusXM show. “She’s good buddies with Kyle. No joke, she knows everyone on the show. She is buddies with [Lisa] Rinna, I think.”
Despite Jenner’s deep connections with RHOBH, Cohen feels that she wouldn’t want to do the show. He cites that she was a producer on KUWTK where she called the shots. If she would join RHOBH she would not be a producer and would have no control over her edit.
After recently completing her first season on the Bravo reality series, Garcelle Beauvais shared her thoughts on Jenner.
“I think she fits the bill… Anything is possible…,” Beauvais told Extra. “I never thought I’d do reality, so anything is possible.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return in 2021 to Bravo.
