If you thought the saga of Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers ended after season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, you were oh so wrong.

On Thursday, Gunvalson filed a lawsuit to the Clark County Court in Nevada, claiming that Ayers owed her money from unpaid loans. Let’s take a look back at the couple’s relationship and what exactly this lawsuit entails.

How much does Ayers owe Gunvalson?

In the court documents obtained by People, the reality star claims that Ayers owes her $184,899. She says that her ex-boyfriend began borrowing from her in 2011, but the two didn’t enter into a written agreement regarding the money until 2016.

In the lawsuit, Gunvalson alleges that Ayers “agreed to provide an accounting of all sums paid to him in various income streams.”

According to the reality star, the money was never repaid.

In addition to the almost $200,000 that Ayers owes her, Gunvalson also claims that he owes her $81,652.97 from a separate agreement.

“Although demand has been made, Ayers has failed and continues to fail to remedy or make good on the said to Gunvalson; that there is now due and owing from Ayers to Gunvalson the sum of $81,652.97, plus pre-judgement interest, attorneys’ fees and costs,” the suit states.

What else is Gunvalson suing Ayers for?

At the RHOC reunion in November, Gunvalson stated that she was going to get her money back from Ayers one way or another.

“I’m going after him … for money he owes me,” she said. “He owes me a lot. I have an Excel spreadsheet on him. I don’t [want to] relive the emotion, I want my money back. The man lied to me and he’s not going to get away with it.”

The money isn’t the only thing that Gunvalson is coming after her former lover for. She is also suing him for fraud.

The lawsuit also states that Ayers “intentionally represented to [Gunvalson] that he would promptly repay the funds borrowed from [Gunvalson], when in fact [he] had no intention of ever repaying either of the loans.”

“[Gunvalson] actually and justifiably relied upon such misrepresentations of material facts made by the [Ayers] and suffered damages in excess of $15,000.00,” the document continues.

When did Ayers and Gunvalson date?

Ayers and Gunvalson began dating in 2010. They were together for over five years before going their separate ways in July of 2015. During this time, Ayers was accused of forging medical documents in an attempt to claim that he was diagnosed with stage three Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

After their breakup, Ayers admitted to the lie and apologized to Gunvalson in a statement.

“I completely understand that people may not believe what I am saying to be true, yet it will not keep me from telling my side of the story along with my rationale as to why I did what I did as it relates to my health and my private life,” he said.

“Since I began dating Vicki in the Fall of 2010, I was the subject of much ridicule and hate. I underestimated the power of social media, fellow cast mates’ accusations, and others from my past that were given a platform to air their grievances toward me. No one is perfect. I have made my share of mistakes which I regret. I pride myself in apologizing when I am wrong or have wronged others either intentionally or unintentionally.”

Gunvalson thanked her former lover for coming clean.

“First of all I would like to thank Brooks for once and for all speaking out on this, and for reiterating what I have said numerous times,” Gunvalson told People in a statement at the time. “Over the last year I have been bullied, belittled, and humiliated by viewers, the media, and my so called ‘friends.’ I am not now, nor have I ever been involved in covering for Brooks. I continue to wish him nothing but the best and hope that we can both now move past this difficult chapter in our lives.”
