As many of you know, Cohen serves as executive producer of the Housewives franchises. The Watch What Happens Live has a say in casting decisions and is kept in the loop about all the changes. When Gunvalson took to Instagram to make to bid adieu, fans were sure to make him aware it was a mistake to let her go.

“No, no no! Really? Why? Watched her from day one,” a fan replied to Cohen’s comment on Gunvalson’s post on Instagram. “Everyone might have their opinion, however, she started the show and now we’re left with women that want threesomes.”

“Come on Andy,” another fan said. “First Lisa [Vanderpump], then Bethenny, now Vicki. Get your act together and get a grip. The shows need the OG’s and we the fans need the OG’s. Me thinks me is done with Real Housewives of Anywhere.”

“Sorry Andy, you’ve lost a viewer,” another user added. “I know that probably won’t mean much to you but these shows used to be fun to watch. When did it become OK to be violent with each other? All they do is fight and get physically abusive. It’s just sickening to watch and I’ve watched since day one.”

“Andy, you betrayed her. Ageism at its best,” a viewer commented.

“I’m done, will not be watching anymore,” another viewer opined. “Goodbye OC. Vicki made the show, the new girls are horrible. Will be boring without Vicki. You messed up big Andy.”

What did Vicki Gunvalson say?

Gunvalson surprised fans on Friday afternoon when she confirmed she would not be returning to RHOC for season 15.

“I will always be the OG of the OC, but it’s time to say goodbye to The Real Housewives of Orange County,” Gunvalson wrote on Instagram. “It’s been an incredible ride for 14 years and I want [to] thank all of you for your support, for your love and for ‘whooping it up’ with me along the way.”

The insurance maven said she enjoyed her time on the show and promised it wouldn’t be the last fans heard of her. Literally, fans would be able to hear her voice in an upcoming podcast she is launching soon.

“I’ve been working on new projects that will be exciting, empowering and inspirational,” she continued. “My podcast with Westwood One will be launching soon and I will have much more to say about this on Whoop it up with Vicki. I hope you will join me on my new journey, so please stay tuned. I love all my fans, and I want to thank Bravo and Evolution for this incredible experience which my family and I have will never forget.”
