Former The Real Housewives of Orange County star Lydia McLaughlin is making her way back to Bravo. The reality TV personality was on the Housewives franchise for two separate seasons and will be returning to the home that launched her into the public eye. However, this time she won’t have to deal with Shannon Beador shenanigans as she did during her last season.

Is Lydia McLaughin returning to the ‘Housewives’ show?

McLaughlin resonated with viewers with her bubbly personality and positive outlook on life. The former Housewives star held an orange during season 8 and again on season 12. For fans hoping to see this 1-season-at-a-time wonder back with the ladies of RHOC, that won’t be happening soon. However, she will return home to the Bravoverse on a new show.

When McLaughlin did a Q&A for fans on her Instagram, a fan asked if she would “ever want to do Housewives again.

“Nope. No. Not at all,” McLaughlin replied. I am grateful for the RHOC chapter but [I] have moved on. My mom and I are getting ready to launch an online series with [Bravo] in the next few months that I am really excited about.”

McLaughlin’s mom was a fan favorite and a show with both of them together is sure to be a hit with viewers. There’s no timeline for the series to launch online but McLaughlin said she had “been filming” with her mom.

Another fan asked if she was still close with her former co-stars to which she replied, “I am friends with all the nice Housewives from RHOC. I think a few have still blocked me.”

Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge celebrating new show?

Bravo has not announced the show starring McLaughlin and they don’t seem to have programming that only lives online. Fans speculate it might be a new effort the cable network is doing that will be announced soon. The news has made other fans speculate if that’s where Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge’s show will be on as well.

After both RHOC veterans quit ahead of season 16 of the series, they have teased they are filming a new show. Both Housewives shared a photo of them shooting a scene in one of their homes. However, pitching of the show was put on pause when the pandemic hit and all of the television industry placed on hold.

“I can’t really say too much,” Judge told Entertainment Tonight in April of this year. “We were about ready to meet with networks and everything got shut down because of the virus. So, we are on hold right now.”

Judge sounds really positive on the outlook of the new show that would star both of them. Neither have revealed who is behind the series or if they’ve had any offers. The effort is to show that life after Housewives can be different, according to Judge.

“I told [Vicki], I said, ‘Listen, you and I paved the way for the Housewives franchise and I think that we are really gonna pave the way for the next step after Housewives is over,’” Judge told the outlet.

When sectors of the country started reopening, Judge and Gunvalson were seen out celebrating with girlfriends.

“Girls night out,” Judge posted on Instagram. “Celebrating something exciting.”

Following her caption, she added a hashtag that read, “Tamra & Vicki New Show”.
