Tamra Judge answers fans’ questions about ‘RHOC’ return

Although nothing has been confirmed yet, there are rumors that RHOC is getting ready to start production on season 16 of the series. Judge has been one of the most quotable housewives from the franchise and some fans want her to return to the series. After it was rumored that she and Heather Dubrow were being considered for the upcoming season, Judge received a query from one of her followers on Instagram.

“Is it true you and Heather might be returning to RHOC or at least in talks about it?” the fan asked.

Judge then answered her follower on her Instagram Stories adding, “I know nothing about this! I’d come back as Heather’s ‘friend.’ That sounds like a fun roll [sic].”

Later on, another fan submitted a question asking if she would take on a “friend of” role or if she would take on a full-time role as a housewife.

“I think a friend roll [sic] would better fit my life right now. It’s complicated,” Judge posted.

Judging from both answers, the fitness maven is seemingly only interested in a part-time role on the show as she is not ready to commit full-time for now.

Tamra Judge was offered a ‘friend of’ role for ‘RHOC’ Season 15

Following her exit from RHOC after wrapping season 14 of the show, Judge has returned to real estate. The former Bravo celebrity has been focused on selling homes around Orange County as the housing market is hot, hot, hot. Weeks after leaving the series, Judge revealed she had been offered a reduced role for season 15 but she declined it. Her ex-husband, Simon Barney, had been diagnosed with cancer, which was not known at the time.

Judge didn’t feel it was right to commit to the show and not being able to be with both of their kids if something happened to him. The star said Bravo offered her three episodes to wrap up her storyline but she ultimately decided to walk away from the offer.

“Those three episodes wouldn’t make any sense to me because I am very much a person who is very honest on the show,” Judge told People in February 2020. “At the time, Simon did not want to come forward with it, so I could not talk about it. It didn’t make any sense for me to be like, ‘I’m sorry, I’ve been very busy now, gotta go,’ because it would be a lie. I couldn’t be honest. I couldn’t be real.”

Tamra Judge working on a reality show with Vicki Gunvalson

Shortly after Judge and Vicki Gunvalson exited the RHOC franchise, both of them were seen filming a new show. The reality TV stars have been pitching a concept that they could both star in. While making an appearance on the web show S’More Date, Gunvalson confirmed she was working on something with Judge.

“Tamra and I are actually working on our own show,” Gunvalson said. “We always thought it’d be fun to have Eddie [Tamra’s husband] and Steve [Lodge] on because Eddie loves Mexico and Steve is half Spanish. So, we’re working on some fun stuff.”

There were not details about how far along they were in the process of getting the show picked up by a network. For now, it’s just an idea and nothing has materialized.
