‘RHOC’: Shannon Beador Finally Reveals Why She’s Not Friends With Tamra Judge, Vicki Gunvalson

Shannon Beador is returning for another season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. The Bravo star was forced to make new friends as the cable network broke up the “Tres Amigas.” Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge both were part of the trio but they had to disband when their contracts were not renewed for full-time status. Beador is now explaining what happened that caused the rift between the former co-stars.

Why did Shannon Beador stop calling her friends?

When Gunvalson and Judge were not picked up for RHOC Season 15, Beador had to scramble to make new friends. As filming for the new season started, she shared a picture alongside Kelly Dodd. The dissonance here is that throughout the previous season, Beador wanted nothing to do with Dodd and banded with her “Tres Amigas.” As soon as Gunvalson and Judge left, Beador rekindled her friendship with Dodd.

“I really have no reason to be around them anymore,” Beador told Entertainment Tonight in an interview. “We live, like, 45 minutes away from each other, so it’s not like we’re in the same social circles or anything like that. I don’t know when I would ever potentially run into them again.”

Beador, who contracted COVID-19 over the summer, says she has no desire to be friends with Gunvalson or Judge for now.

Tamra Judge wanted her friend

It was the previous picture that caused a big divide in the “Tres Amigas” group. Earlier this year, Judge said that she felt hurt by Beador not returning her calls and feeling distanced from her.

“As soon as we’re not on the show anymore, she just doesn’t have any time for us anymore and it really just kind of hurts my feelings,” Judge told ET back in April. “I felt like on the show, off the show, whatever, she was my friend, you know? I helped her through this divorce, I spent hours in the middle of the night answering phone calls.”

Judge just wanted to feel like her friend was still her friend but Beador disputes everything that she’s said about her. Although Beador says she doesn’t want to “sink down to a level to argue with people” in the press she says Judge has a “laundry list of things that aren’t true.”

Despite Judge trying to call Beador to talk about her feelings, the latter did not want to engage because of everything that she had been spewing out publicly.

“It’s interesting when people say, ‘You can pick up the phone….’ What moron would pick up the phone when someone’s been bashing them for months on end?” Beador asked while being interviewed by ET. “I mean, it almost got to a point where it was weekly, where yet another untruth [would come out] and, you know — I take the high road in those situations, and I’m gonna continue to do that.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 15 starts October 14 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. Elizabeth Vargas is set to join the cast as the new housewife following Gunvalson and Judge’s exit.
