‘RHOC’: Vicki Gunvalson Claims Shannon Beador ‘Obsessed Over Her Dislike’ of Kelly Dodd
Vicki Gunvalson from The Real Housewives of Orange County quit before season 15 of the show. Although the OG of the OC is not part of the Bravo series anymore, her name has been getting brought up by her former co-stars. The insurance maven is now clearing up the “lies” regarding her friendship with Shannon Beador and their disdain for Kelly Dodd.
What did Vicki Gunvalson say about Shannon Beador?
Beador was part of the “Tres Amigas” along with Gunvalson and Tamra Judge. The latter two were axed from RHOC Season 15 and stopped appearing. This left Beador with no friends on the show and she had to rekindle some old relationships.
One turbulent friendship that Beador had on the show was with Dodd, who was not a fan of any of the “Tres Amigas.” Dodd claimed on the show that the reason she and Beador weren’t friends was due to Gunvalson and Judge were gaslighting her.
“Kelly claiming that Tamra and I were in Shannon’s head so that Shannon would not like Kelly is an outright lie,” Gunvalson told Champion Daily. “We ALL disliked Kelly and if anyone knows Shannon, they know that she is not one to hold her tongue. She’s an obsessive person and I can assure you she obsessed over her dislike of Kelly- even when I was friends with Kelly.”
Gunvalson made it clear that Beador is a person strong in her convictions and is not easily swayed. She didn’t want Dodd implying that she and Judge were putting things into Beador’s head for them not to be friends.

As you can tell, Gunvalson and Dodd are not friends despite them hitting it off when the latter joined. Their friendship took a nosedive and although they’ve tried to start fresh they always seem to end up feuding again. At the start of RHOC Season 14, Dodd made fun of Gunvalson and called her a “pig.” Dodd has hit below the belt making fun of her physical appearance, but now Gunvalson is firing back.
“Kelly recently referred to me as a ‘pig’ and said I had a ‘gross, funky body,’” Gunvalson told Celeb Magazine of an Instagram comment she read. “First of all, she’s calling me a pig as she knows this is something that offended me in the past and ridiculously childish, so I’m going to take ownership of the term and throw it back at her.”
Gunvalson is now reclaiming the word and using it against Dodd as well as calling her out for mocking the Black Lives Matter movement.
“Kelly Dodd is the true meaning of a pig,” she continued. “She thinks she’s above the law, she mocks people dying of the coronavirus pandemic, she wore a ‘Drunk Wives Matter’ hat at a time when people are out advocating for Black Lives Matter- which, whether she agrees or not, completely mocks the movement. She hosted a bridal shower with little use of masks and no social distancing, and that’s only the beginning.”
