‘RHOLSC’: What Does Jen Shah’s Company Shah Squad Marketing Do?
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has made Jen Shah a household name. But she’s so much more than a Bravo star. Showbiz Cheat Sheet spoke with Shah over the phone about her business ventures outside the Real Housewives franchise, including Shah Squad Marketing.
Jen Shah is the ‘Queen Bee and MVP’ of ‘RHOSLC’
Shah established herself as the main character in season 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. She had drama with many other housewives on the show, including her feud with Mary Cosby, who infamously told Shah she “smelled like hospital.” But being a Bravo housewife isn’t the only thing Shah is known for.
Jen Shah has several business ventures
When she’s not filming for the Bravo series, Shah is managing her other businesses. Shah’s JXA Fashion is a line of masks, Shah Squad merchandise, and custom made gowns. Shah is currently working on a line for the spring. Fans will get to see many of those designs during the upcoming RHOSLC reunion special.
In addition to her fashion collection, Shah also has a beauty line called Shah Beauty. The six products Shah Beauty currently offers are backed by science and designed to heal skin from the inside out.
Yet another business venture Shah is involved in is Shah Lashes. Given her direct response marketing background, Shah saw a need and sought a way to meet it. Shah created a company that provides subscribers with false lashes shipped directly to their doors monthly.
Jen Shah supports ‘Young Preneurs’ through Shah Squad Marketing
As a business mogul herself, who better to help young people learn the skills they need to monetize their business? One of Shah’s goals is to give women and young people the skills to build their e-commerce businesses. After the impact the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic had on small business, Shah is even more eager to help.
“It’s really great because we’re helping people build their online business so they can still create additional sources of revenue or [a replacement for] their current stream of revenue,” Shah shared during our call.
Another aspect of Shah’s venture is fostering young people, who she calls “Young Preneuers,” and their ideas.
“I’m telling you, there are some 6-year-olds that are going to blow your minds, people,” Shah added. The “Young Preneur” program has been around for two years, but fans can expect more in 2021.
“We’re going to go out publicly with it and will be to help [the] youth of marginalized demographics to teach them how to start their own businesses and hopefully change the mindset in the country,” Shah explained to Showbiz. It’s her goal for the world to understand that it’s “OK if you don’t come from generational wealth — you don’t need to do that [to be successful].”
“We want to make it the norm for anybody to start with the mindset [of] ‘I can be wealthy, I can be successful,'” Shah concluded. She’s hopeful Shah Squad Marketing’s “Young Preneur” program will spread that message.
Shah Squad Marketing is a legitimate company
Many RHOSLC fans were confused by Shah’s marketing business venture, as the brand’s Twitter has been inactive, and there’s seemingly no website. Shah says fans can find more information on her social media.
“Right now, people can find more out about this program on my social media Instagram page or Twitter @therealJenShah,” she shared. “There’ll be a link for them to go directly to the program.
