Peacock is reviving The Real Housewives of Miami for another season. The Bravo series initially ran for three seasons, from 2011 to 2013, but was not picked up for a fourth season. After many years of fans asking for its return, it is now happening on the streaming platform. There are many names being thrown around for the new cast and one of them is Paulina Rubio’s.

Who is Paulina Rubio?

Rubio is one of the biggest pop stars in the world, having sold millions of records worldwide. The Mexican star got her start in her native country as one of the members of the musical group Timbiriche. After being part of the successful ensemble for many years, Rubio started a solo career to the same success. Songs like “Mío,” “Amor de Mujer,” and “Enamorada” were some of her top hits starting out.

It was with the release of her album titled Paulina, that Rubio catapulted her career. “Lo Haré Por Ti,” “El Último Adios,” “Y Yo Sigo Aquí,” and “Yo No Soy Esa Mujer” were all singles from the same production that hit the charts around the world.

Rubio has continued to make music and always manages to grab headlines for her outrageous personality. In 2012, Rubio became a coach for the Mexican version of The Voice and the following year she did the same for The Voice Kids on Telemundo. It was in 2013 when Simon Cowell tapped Rubio to be one of the judges for The X-Factor where she shared the panel with Demi Lovato and Kelly Rowland.

‘RHOM’ Season 4 casting rumors

Rubio is one of the personalities being considered for RHOM Season 4, according to Page Six. Orianne Cevey, Phil Collins’ ex, was also reportedly in talks to join the series. Larsa Pippen, who was a cast member in the first season, has allegedly been contacted and been offered a role.

“Larsa’s attorney advised her that it wouldn’t be a good idea [to return to the show], but she’s still thinking about it. She knows it comes with great financial gain, so she’s still on the fence,” an insider told Hollywood Life.

Wendy Williams has also nominated herself to appear in the RHOM reboot. While appearing on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, the talk show host gave Andy Cohen some pointers on what to do with the franchise.

“I totally can have the in because I would immediately befriend Larsa Pippen,” Williams said. “Sign up Larsa Pippen, I’ve got the word on the inside that she wants to be a part. Sign up Mrs. Phil Collins, the ex who’s married to the young man, they both live in the mansion.”

However, Williams said she would only sign up to be a “friend of” and not a full-time housewife.

“Trust me, I definitely want to be just a ‘friend of’ because I don’t want to obligate myself to being there all the time,” Williams added. “And then come back and you ask me how my weekend is and I’m like, ‘Well, I was in Miami, let me tell you what I can say.”

The Real Housewives of Miami Season 4 would stream on Peacock in the coming months.
