Although Dolores Catania was tight-lipped about filming the new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, she openly shared her enthusiasm for Luke Gulbranson from Bravo’s Summer House.

Both Bravo series are currently shooting and Catania mused about what it would be like to join the Summer House crew in the Hamptons. She dished with Amir Yass on Instagram Live about their budding friendship with Gulbranson and Hannah Berner. “You’re friends with Luke? I’m friends with Luke too,” Catania gushed to Yass.

She said she’d love to come to Summer House adding, “I really think I’m friends with Luke and Hannah, like in my mind.”

Dolores Catania and Amir Yass discuss Luke Gulbranson’s ring auction

Catania shared that she truly likes Gulbranson. “I like him so much as a person,” Catania said. She also wondered about the engagement ring Gulbranson was auctioning for charity. Gulbranson recently partnered with IDoNowIDont.com to auction his Tiffany & Co. engagement ring. Proceeds from the auction will go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Viewers likely remember when Gulbranson planned to sell the ring during the last season. He endured a painful breakup and seemed ready to move on by selling the ring. “He was going to propose [to his ex-girlfriend] and then their relationship fell apart and he sold the ring back,” Yass recounts.

“Well, he is just amazing … wonderful,” Catania remarked. “I want to see him soon. He’s filming in the city, right? They’re filming.” She added she couldn’t confirm if Summer House was filming, but if they are, she’d love to see Gulbranson.

Yass recalled Gulbranson made his own maple syrup when he was quarantined in the Midwest. “When I talked to him the WiFi kept going in and out because he was on some farm,” Yass said. “There was a lake and he was making his own maple syrup. Of course, he was, right?”

‘Summer House’ without the ‘ragers?’

Catania said Gulbranson has her heart in a sweet way. “I message him, I’m checking on him,” Catania said. “He watches old cowboy movies. I mean, my heart. This kid has my heart. He’s just so adorable.”

Yass shares what he knows about the current season. “I think what I heard is that they’re doing Summer House,” he dished. But, “They’re not going to have those ragers. They’re just gonna film all of them in the house. No more parties. That’s fine.”

“I like them so much,” Catania said. “I don’t want to see them drunk and sloppy.”

Season 5 began filming in late July with the potential for new cast members. OG Summer House cast member Kyle Cooke stirred the pot on Twitter about the possibility for two new cast members. He responded to a tweet by Bravo asking which seven Housewives would fans want to be stranded with on a deserted island. Cooke commented, “What if you hypothetically stranded 10 New Yorkers in a house on Long Island? Hypothetically.”

Last year’s cast included eight people and it is unclear if the entire 2019 roster will return for 2020.
