Joe Giudice’s 2019 was busy. There was his prison release, court appearances for his deportation case, and divorce filings courtesy of his famous reality TV star wife.

The former Real Housewives of New Jersey husband reportedly worked to keep things amicable with his ex, Teresa, someone he’s known since childhood.

Rolling into 2020, Giudice learned he had to remain in Italy, but he also announced a celebrity boxing match and his own reality cooking show. Now, he has a few other enterprises that he’s trying to grow.

Joe Giudice is dabbling in the furniture industry

Giudice recently spoke to E! News about his personal life, business pursuits, and his relationship with Teresa. He noted that the boxing match—which is supposed to be against Jennifer Lopez’s ex, Ojani Noa—is still on. Though it was originally scheduled for Oct. 24 in the Bahamas, it’s been pushed back.

While he’s busy training for that, Giudice decided to enter the furniture business. He told the outlet he partnered with someone in Italy to do a direct-to-consumer operation.

“I just signed a deal to start importing sofas, chairs and what have you from an Italian company here. They’re actually handmade sofas, leather sofas,” he said.

“Let’s say the couch cost $8,000, you cut out the other $8,000 to ship it to a shop in America, this, that and the other thing. So you save a lot of money. So I’m going to be wholesaling sofas to the customers all over the place.”

Unafraid of diversifying his portfolio, Giudice also waded into the personal pleasure business and said it’s been very lucrative for him.

He told E! that Zalo USA is his other venture and they sell women’s massagers—aka vibrators. Giudice explained that the products are high-end and created by an Italian French designer. Before this, he’d never dealt with such an item before.

“I always wanted to get involved in that business and I did,” he said. “Listen, it’s paying me and the bills and it’s a good business. I sent one to Teresa and the whole cast. I’m sure that they’re having fun. I’m sure that each of them are gonna try it because it’s a pretty cool item. I know I couldn’t perform like that!”

He and Teresa are on good terms

RHONJ fans may have wondered if the former spouses are getting along, and according to Giudice, they speak every day and both have moved on. He said two of their daughters have plans to visit him and all four are doing great.

When asked about Teresa’s dating life, Giudice said that he’d never expect her to stay single forever but added things may have turned out differently if he was able to stay in the U.S. after he got out of prison. He’s coparenting the best he can from afar.

Giudice still has plans to do some celebrity MMA bouts after his boxing match happens, so his fans can stay tuned to see him in the ring—wherever it happens. Italy is home for now.
