Bethenny Frankel knows a thing or two about leaving the popular franchise of The Real Housewives of New York City. The popular reality TV personality made an exit from the Bravo series back in 2019 after a second stint on the show. Cynthia Bailey of The Real Housewives of Atlanta announced she was leaving her franchise after 11 seasons on the air. Following Bailey’s announcement, Frankel had something to say about her on social media.

What did Bethenny Frankel tell Cynthia Bailey?

Frankel was one of the OG stars of RHONY back when it premiered in 2008. The Skinnygirl founder found much success on the Bravo reality series and after three seasons on the show, she made an exit. Frankel landed a spinoff on the cable network, continued to drive up sales for her company, and even landed her short-lived talk show.

Following three seasons off the show, Frankel would return to RHONY in season 7 and made it all the way through season 11 — five more seasons. In total, Frankel was a housewife for eight seasons and became one of the most iconic names in the reality show world.

With Frankel walking away from the series twice, it was no surprise that she would react after Bailey confirmed she was leaving RHOA. In a message on Twitter, Frankel reacted to the news about the former model’s new chapter in life.

“I don’t know @CynthiaBailey10 but she always struck me as a class act & a hard worker. Cheers to her next chapter,” Frankel tweeted.

Why is Cynthia Bailey leaving ‘RHOA?’

For a while, there have been rumors that RHOA producers were in the works of shaking things up with the cast for season 14. As production for the new season ramps up, Bailey made the sad announcement that she was leaving the franchise after 11 seasons on the hit show.

“After much thought and consideration, I have made the very difficult and heartfelt decision not to return for the next season of Real Housewives of Atlanta,” she said in a statement on Instagram. “Thank you NBC Universal, Bravo, and Truly Original for over a decade of partnership. I can’t wait to see what we do next!”

The former model also said that throughout her time on the show she made “the most incredible & unforgettable memories.”

Bailey continued, “I am so grateful to have had this amazing journey, and I am anxiously waiting to embark on new adventures. Most importantly, THANK YOU to my fans! I could not have done it without your blessings, love, and support. Without the fans, none of this would be possible. I love and appreciate all of you. It’s time to move on to my next chapter, and I look forward to sharing it with all of you.”

The reality TV personality had already hinted about the rumors she was leaving the show. In repeated interviews, Bailey said she didn’t want to get fired from the franchise and wanted the option to weigh her options. Ultimately, it seems like her time holding a peach was over. However, Bailey will next be seen in The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip that will start streaming soon on Peacock.
