Bethenny Frankel is one of the iconic stars of The Real Housewives of New York City. Although the Skinnygirl founder is not part of the cast anymore, her name is still associated very closely with the Bravo series. It doesn’t matter what Frankel is doing, RHONY is part of her and fans always want to know if she still has ties to the show that made her famous. The entrepreneur recently revealed which of her former co-stars she’s still in touch with.

Who does Bethenny Frankel still talk to from the ‘RHONY’ cast?

Frankel had two stints on RHONY: The first one was for the first three seasons and her second one was from seasons 7 through 11. The Big Apple queen used her time on the show to promote her businesses and ventures. Skinnygirl is still going strong as she expands her brand into different territories. Since leaving the Bravo series, Frankel has focused part of her time on producing her new show called The Big Shot for HBO Max.

Former co-star Dorinda Medley made a guest appearance on her new reality competition series and has been seemingly one of the few cast members Frankel keeps in touch with. The latter recently revealed in an interview which RHONY stars she’s still in contact with.

“I text Sonja [Morgan] periodically and I talk to Dorinda,” Frankel said while being interviewed by Fifi, Fev & Nick. “We were laughing today, we were talking about summer china. [Medley] sent me this one summer china and I sent her a melamine version.”

Frankel said that the conversations she has with her former co-stars “couldn’t be more boring.”

“Everybody thinks we’re talking, sitting home and talking about reality television,” she added. “We talk about just mundane [things], dating over 50, hormones, summer china, renovation, my daughter, her daughter, Mother’s Day… just mundane tasks. We’re funny when we’re on the phone but it’s not riveting.”

Ramona Singer slams Bethenny Frankel

Although Frankel left with some friends from RHONY, there are other housewives that are not too fond of her. Ramona Singer recently slammed Frankel for something she believed she did in bad faith. The day Bravo released the trailer for RHONY Season 13, Frankel confirmed she had finalized her divorce.

Frankel had a messy divorce that lasted for years and one she vaguely touched upon on the reality series. E! News reported that the process had finalized in January of this year when the judge signed off on the legal documents. For many skeptics, the timing of the breaking news and the RHONY trainer was too coincidental. Singer was one of many people that thought Frankel released the news to take advantage of all the press.

“Of course she did it on purpose! Come on, you know Bethenny very well,” Singer said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

Bethenny Frankel has no intentions of returning to ‘RHONY’

RHONY provided Frankel with a huge platform and she is grateful for all the opportunities that it gave her. After two stints on the Bravo show, the business maven seems to be completely over her time as a housewife. Frankel recently revealed that she is all about looking ahead to see what’s ahead.

“I don’t really believe in going backwards, I don’t want to go back on Housewives. It’s not where I am right now,” she said on Extra. “I respect that I came from there… I’m moving forward.”

When Frankel makes a decision, she does it with the most certainty, and leaving RHONY was something that she felt she needed to do.

“Leaving the show was something that my gut thought I should do and I was looking several steps forward,” she added.

The Big Shot with Bethenny is fully available on the HBO Max streaming service.
