Carole Radziwill is a former cast member of The Real Housewives of New York City. Before becoming a Bravo star, Radziwill was an accomplished journalist and politics has always been her forte. In recent years, the successful author has been extremely critical of Donald Trump and the Republican Party. Radziwill’s latest shade was to her former co-star Luann de Lesseps.

What did Luann de Lesseps do?

One thing that Radziwill has criticized is that her former The Real Housewives co-stars are not taking the pandemic seriously. Radziwill has famously called out the RHONY stars for being Republican. There was an infamous episode in season 9 where Radziwill threw a party for the 2016 election night where Trump won. She zeroed in on Ramona Singer and didn’t invite her as she was not a Hillary Clinton supporter.

Singer caused drama over the summer of 2020 when she was seen on social media playing down the pandemic and not using face masks. A recent report on the Daily Mail said that De Lesseps was spotted in Florida partying without social distancing and maskless.

Radziwill couldn’t resist to call out De Lesseps for not abiding by the rules and not helping slowing down the spread of COVID-19.

“Trump is gone buy the maskless idiots remain,” Radziwill tweeted. “At least they are all in one place. Good luck Florida.”

Radziwill also referred to her former co-star as a nurse as she claims she once was. It should be noted that frontline workers have been hit severely as they tend to patients suffering from coronavirus complications.

Carole Radziwill explains ‘shady’ tweet about Dorinda Medley

One of the RHONY housewives that Radziwill is seemingly OK with is Dorinda Medley. The latter recently confirmed she would not be returning to season 13 of the Bravo reality series.

“I have met so many interesting people and learned so much about myself, about life, and about women along the way,” Medley wrote on Instagram at the time. “Thank you to Bravo and NBC for the incredible ride and to my castmates for constant stimulation and entertainment. I wish you all health, happiness, and success.”

When Radziwill found out Medley was not coming back to the show, she dedicated a post to her calling her the only “real housewife.”

“Dorinda was only ‘real’ HW,” Radziwill tweeted. “So no more truth telling too. Trust me that’s a main reason cast is let go. Telling the truth & exposing fake cast members & their storylines & how its all manipulated by production. I will never tire of saying I told you so about Trump, and this.”

Radziwill later added another tweet with a picture of herself and Medley during an event in NYC.

“And so it goes… #RHONY fans will miss her quips, her humor, her in your face bulls**t detector & her intelligence,” she wrote. “But what they will come to miss the most is her honesty and realness in a sea of mendacity. Onward, my love.”

When the media reported that Radziwill had thrown shade at her former co-star, she tweeted: “I shade? Of course I do. I didn’t know what shade was until I was on #RHONY. The [Real Housewives] franchise is built on shade. So I learned at the feet of the masters. Women being catty, petty and yes, shady. And ya’ll love it! It’s what you call the guilty pleasure. So you’re welcome.”

The Real Housewives of New York City are expected to return to Bravo in 2021 for season 13.
