She appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and host Andy Cohen pointed out that it was Farrell who had the major fundraiser for Donald Trump over the summer. A news article flashed in front of the screen about the fundraiser during the episode. Which at the time, Cohen vehemently opposed. He shared his thoughts in July about the event on his Instagram story.

“So Equinox and Soul Cycle are giving our money to the Trump campaign,” he shared in an Instagram story video while working out at Equinox. “Their chairman of the company that owns them is having a big fundraiser in the Hamptons this weekend for Trump.” Cohen often shared videos working out with his favorite trainer at Equinox in New York City. He added, “I mean, it’s going f**k up traffic and he’s f**king up his business. So … ugh… I was going to do cardio later today. What do I do?”

Cohen wanted to know why Farrell really wanted his home included on the show

Cohen wanted to know if Farrell wanted his home “advertised” on the show because it was for sale. “100 percent,” de Lesseps laughs nodding during the WWHL After Show. “Yeah, but I don’t think he had any idea what the conversation would be surrounding him.”

“I mean I had no idea Tinsley [Mortimer] went out with him, and I loved Leah’s [McSweeney] reaction. Which was what these guys get away with because they got a lot of money.” When McSweeney arrived at the party she noted that it was a party for white people with money. She later remarked about how men with money can easily attract women too.

Comedian John Oliver was also on the show and added, “I think Sonja [Morgan] might have actually managed to bring the price of that house down by $5 million dollars.” Cohen and de Lesseps couldn’t help but bust out laughing.

Farrell once asked $50 million for Sandcastle

The cast certainly made their mark at the party, especially Morgan. She continued to drink throughout the day and then dove into some Tito’s vodka on the rocks during the party. Morgan ends up getting so drunk she hits on a number of men at the party and gets out of hand.

Although the majority of the story focused on the women and their reactions, cameras captured a decent amount of footage from the home. According to The Real Deal, Sandcastle is “a 17,000 square foot estate in Bridgehampton. Farrell’s family sometimes uses the Sandcastle as a primary residence, but have been known to rent to celebrities (including Beyonce and Jay-Z and Madonna) and other high-profile individuals.”

“The mansion has been listed at different price points several times since it was completed. The Sandcastle has laundry list of amenities including a baseball field, a planetarium and a 60-foot pool with an underwater sound system on its 11.5 acres.”

Farrell listed the home for $40 million in July 2019, but it was on the market for $50 million in 2018. Tickets to the Trump fundraiser, held in early August at the home, went from $2,800 to $250,000, CNBC reports, The Real Deal recounts.
