Many fans exclaimed that Leah McSweeney from The Real Housewives of New York City killed it during her first reunion, but now worry she may not return next year.

McSweeney has not made a statement she was leaving or indicated she planned to quit the show. However, a small Instagram detail had some viewers expressing concern that she might be “one and done.” During the first hour of the reunion, McSweeney quietly removed the RHONY title from her Instagram bio.

Some fans have viewed the Instagram bio to be a hint of whether a cast member is coming or going. For instance, Dorinda Medley from RHONY and Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge from The Real Housewives of Orange County quickly erased the show from their bios when they left the series. However, Tinsley Mortimer from RHONY still has the show listed on her bio even though she walked away mid-season.

Rumors heat up during the reunion

Several fans loved how quickly McSweeney put Ramona Singer in her place for being careless during the pandemic. “10 mins in and I’m already so happy to see you putting Ramona in her place,” one person wrote in a thread on McSweeney’s reunion photo. “As a Floridian from palm beach I’ve seen how hard covid has hit there and heard my grandpa complain all summer about not being able to walk outside of his nursing home. Ramona has no awareness or empathy.”

But quite a few fans quickly noticed McSweeney no longer had RHONY in her Instagram bio. “Please please please say you’re coming back next season! #RHONY needs #LeahMcSweeney,” another person wrote.

“Why isn’t RHONY in your bio anymore? Are you leaving? DON’T LEAVE US,” a fan wrote. “You elevate that SH*T!”

Fans also flooded another one of McSweeney’s Instagram posts with questions about her missing RHONY. “You better NOT go anywhere! You are the glue holding all those train wrecks together!” a fan commented.

Fans shouldn’t worry just yet

Singer also removed and replaced RHONY in her bio shortly after Medley announced her exit. McSweeney also hasn’t expressed that she was ready to leave the show, but in fact, suggested that perhaps the network consider adding her sister to the cast next season.

“My sister of course,” she told Extra when asked if she could choose the next cast member. She then joked that new cast members should have their psychiatrist on speed dial. “No, I would say be yourself,” she said. “Be yourself and have fun. Because if you’re not having fun, what’s the point of it?”

She also weighed in on the rumor that Tiger Woods’ former mistress Rachel Uchitel could join the cast next season. “I don’t know her personally,” she said. “I know that normally if it’s reported that somebody is going to be on the show before it starts to film, it’s probably not right.”

The Real Housewives of New York City reunion continues on Thursday at 9/8c on Bravo.
