Gizelle Bryant unfollowed Wendy Osefo around the filming of ‘RHOP’ season 6

The Real Housewives of Potomac cast, minus Monique Samuels, who is no longer a part of the series, began filming the sixth season at the beginning of 2021. Presumably, due to her exit, the show has included another full-time cast member, Mia Thornton.

In the trailer for the upcoming season, Gizelle Bryant brought up rumors surrounding the most recent housewife, Dr. Wendy Osefo’s husband. The political commentator confronts the OG cast member at some point, noting she now believes what others told her about Bryant’s reputation.

Seemingly in response to the Green-Eyed Bandit claiming she didn’t care, Osefo replied that she didn’t care about the cameras and would “light your a*s up.” Before the trailer was released, several fans assumed something happened between the two during filming as they noticed Bryant unfollowed Osefo on Instagram and Twitter.

The political commentator is still following the OG housewife on both social media platforms.

Bryant explained why she no longer follows Osefo during a recent interview

During a May 2021 Breakfast Club interview, the former First Lady explained why she no longer wanted her castmate on her feeds. Bryant simply answered she unfollowed because she didn’t find the political commentator “interesting.”

The OG housewife also acknowledged their upcoming drama on season six, explaining she thinks Osefo believes Bryant did “a lot of things.”

However, Bryant denied having involvement with making anything messy and claimed she didn’t have any malicious intentions. Instead, she claimed she came from a place of “concern” and wanted to make sure Osefo could handle the pressures associated with being a reality star.

The original housewife said the political commentator didn’t believe her, so Bryant’s ready for everything to play out on the show.

The ladies initially got along during ‘RHOP’ season 5

When Osefo joined RHOP last season, introduced by Candiace Dillard, she instantly made connections with the other housewives except for Karen Huger, who insisted she didn’t know Osefo.

Additionally, the political commentator got into an argument with Ashley Darby when she didn’t understand why the latter could bring her baby on the girls’ weekend at Monique Samuels’ cabin.

However, Osefo opened up about her newborn spending time in the NICU and patched things up with Darby. She and Bryant had a decent relationship throughout the season as they both witnessed the physical altercation between Samuels and Dillard.

Additionally, the two took the same side as they both believed the former cast member should have taken more accountability and thought she contributed to negative stereotypes of Black women. The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Bravo.
