After RHOP stars Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard came to blows, the former met with the group to discuss what happened. When Robyn Dixon retold the conversation to Dillard, she claimed Karen Huger didn’t hold Samuels accountable. Huger called Dixon out for “twisting my words” in an Instagram post.

Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard got into physical fight

Former close friends Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard fell out during the fourth season of The Real Housewives of Potomac, seemingly over a newfound friendship with the latter’s rival, Ashley Darby.

Even though the ladies made up during the reunion and met for lunch a few weeks later, their relationship soured again when Dillard invited OG and ex-housewife Charrisse Jackson Jordan to her anniversary party.

The mother-of-three and Jordan are currently on bad terms as the former RHOP star allegedly spread rumors regarding Samuels’ youngest child’s paternity. The two got into it again during a girls’ trip over a misunderstanding and then came to blows the next time they saw each other.

While celebrating with Gizelle Bryant at a winery, the ladies began arguing, and it eventually turned physical when Samuels grabbed Dillard’s hair and dragged her to the table. The Not For Lazy Moms owner also hit the newlywed on top of the head several times, and Dillard tried to protect herself by swinging a wine glass.

Samuels met with the ladies about the fight

A few days after the fight, Samuels met with co-stars Wendy Osefo, Robyn Dixon, Bryant, and Darby at Karen Huger’s home to digest what happened. The mother-of-three explained she’s “embarrassed” by her actions and promised she’s not someone who attacks someone unprovoked.

Samuels then discussed what she remembered from the fight, as she claimed she blacked out at one point and stated that Dillard instigated the altercation by getting into her face and throwing a glass.

After she “came to” when the producers urged her to let go of Dillard, the Not For Lazy Moms owner said she ran around the building looking for her former friend because the newlywed kept hurling insults.

Bryant, who brought personal security because she deems Samuels a “liability,” described aggressive behavior from the mother-of-three over the past three seasons.

Therefore, she believes “that’s who [Monique] is.” Dixon felt like Samuels was being “condescending” during the conversation and asked Huger to moderate.

The Grand Dame went on to give her side and told Samuels she “f***ed up” but will “stand by her” if the mother-of-three addresses her faults.

In the following episode, Dixon hung out with Dillard and filled her in on the conversation they had with Samuels. The Green-Eyed Bandit explained the podcast host isn’t “remorseful” for the fight, causing Dillard to get emotional.

Dixon then claimed Huger let her down because the Grand Dame didn’t “express any disappointment” in Samuels’ actions. However, a flashback proved otherwise, as Huger stated she felt the mother-of-three messed up in front of everyone at the meeting.

Huger posted a three-minute clip of the conversation to her Instagram account and claimed Dixon is “doing her favorite thing again, twinning.” She then told the original housewife to “stop twisting my words” and encouraged her to tell Dillard the truth of what happened during the meeting.

The clip also included Dillard telling Dixon that Huger encouraged her to press charges against Samuels. While the Grand Dame didn’t respond to that part in her caption, she did admit to making the statement later in the episode and promised she would tell the podcast host what she said. The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
