‘RHOP’: Karen Huger Slams Gizelle Bryant for Dragging Her Co-Stars

Karen Huger and Gizelle Bryant are back with a new season of The Real Housewives of Potomac. One of the things that Bravo fans like about the ladies is that they are not afraid to speak their minds. Why is Karen Huger calling out Gizelle Bryant?

Bravo made the second episode of RHOP Season 5 available online so eager fans didn’t have to wait a whole week. During the episode, Bryant has some shady comments about Monique Samuels and Huger is not going to let her drag any more Housewives. The Grande Dame listed all of Bryant’s messiness throughout the first four seasons without missing a beat.

“Gizelle, [Season 1] you drag Charrisse [Jordan] and her family. Then Ashley [Darby’s] and hers,” Huger tweeted. “Next, you attempt to drag me and mine. Then Candiace [Dillard]. Now you’ve moved on to Monique and hers with your twisted lies.”

“Shame on you,” Huger continued. “You’re incapable [of] truly being happy for most of your…”

Fans react to Karen Huger’s read

Huger is not here to watch Bryant drag another one of her co-stars and fans reacted positively to the Grande Dame’s read.

“I think she set up Monique to fight Candiace to get her ‘good girl’ image ruined through the use of this TV show,” a fan replied. “I think she tried to plot this from the moment she [first] met Monique. Sadly it worked in her favor but I hope you all call her out for it because that’s not cool.”

“Gizelle is a typical mean girl and usually that comes from their own low self-esteem issues and unhappiness,” a viewer added. “They project their pain on others to feel better about their situation. She’s a toxic person.”

“Exactly Grand Dame”, a Twitter user agreed. “When a cast member goes low like that, she’s thirsty for a storyline ladies. Y’all know this is storyline thirst to stay relevant, somebody has to pay her bills.”

“This tweet is why you are the Grande Dame,” another fan said.

“Gizelle is trying to distract everyone from her saying, ‘Once a cheater, always a cheater,’ now that she is reconnecting with her cheater,” another viewer mentioned. “She really needs to start thinking before she speaks.”

“Gizelle has daughters. They will go to school one day and be treated like she treats people. That’s how it goes. She better be careful,” another Twitter user noted.

The Grande Dame doesn’t always take sides

Huger doesn’t always make take sides when two Housewives are feuding. Take for example the discord between Samuels and Dillard. Both RHOP stars are going to be involved in a physical altercation that changes the Potomac franchise forever.

“That altercation was a powerful moment, it had repercussions on all of the ladies,” Huger told E! Online.

“I’m the matriarch of RHOP, I don’t have to take sides, I have to be fair. I have to be objective and I have to be truthful. And oftentimes telling your friends the truth about their behavior is not easy and it’s challenging. Again, I’ll say stay tuned. Two wrongs don’t make a right and I stand by that.”

The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
