‘RHOP’ Star Katie Rost Addressed Why She Left the Cayman Islands and Threw Shade at Robyn Dixon
After Katie Rost left the Cayman Islands vacation early, Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant searched for her out of concern for her safety. However, Rost took to Instagram to explain she told the women she was leaving, and why, and they played it up for the show.
Additionally, she slammed the production company and Bravo for editing the situation to portray her inaccurately. Dixon then took to Instagram to clear her name and took a shot at Rost. What happened? Keep reading to find out.
‘RHOP’ star Katie Rost left the Cayman Islands early
In Real Housewives of Potomac Season 4 Episode 15, Rost joined the women in the Cayman Islands for a three-day vacation. On the first night, Ashley Darby confronted the mother-of-two regarding her comments about Darby’s husband, and the two ended up getting into multiple fights throughout the night.
Then, Rost chose not to participate in almost any of the activities Dixon planned for them because she didn’t feel well. Finally, she left on the second day without telling anyone, sending Bryant and Dixon into a panic, concerned about her whereabouts.
Rost and her mother are now accusing Bravo and production company Truly Original of editing and lying about the situation.
‘RHOP’ star Katie Rost took to Instagram to explain herself
On September 9, Rost explained her truths on Instagram, writing, “Wow, what an impossible situation. On the trip to the Cayman, I was sick, I was there for a day and night before the “host,” Robyn arrived. I don’t know what host means cause Robyn couldn’t host a five-person dinner with her always declined Annex, so trust and believe I’m not sweating her deciding to not invite me on any more trips that she: a) can’t afford and b:) get to on time. Lord, where was I, so I was on the island wearing my bad wig and all, and then I felt like something wasn’t right and called a doctor. He was an island/house doctor. He came to my room and gave me antibiotics and told me to stay out of the sun. The next day we were on a boat all day and in the sun; I felt very sick. I left Grand Cayman after notifying production and the front desk that I was sick. I got home and found out I was pregnant. I told Robyn, Gizelle, and all of production I was pregnant two days before Karen’s LaDame party. I told Ashley the night of. I lost the baby a few months later. #RHOP #YouAlreadyKnow #EditingInvolvesIntegrity.”
She continued her tirade in another caption, writing, “I don’t like liars or a******s or people who treat their employees like s**t, editing out that I left Grand Cayman because I was pregnant. Wow, this production company has such a bad reputation, only a bottom feeder would let them in a room while a probe is going into your vagina, so they trumped up and then dropped sexual assault charges against one’s husband and a week later it’s all good?!? Nah, tell me I’m wrong. Ewwww #RHOP.”
Rost finally ended her rant in one last comment, writing, “The saddest part for me is that horrible feeling knowing you were integral in creating something and those people treat you like s**t. It’s the opposite of every experience I’ve ever had. My mom talked to Andy Cohen the other day; he knows a bit of what’s going on. But I think production has lied about their misbehavior. I keep it real.” As of yet, Dixon is the only one to respond to the philanthropist.
Robyn Dixon responded to Katie Rost
On a Real Housewives of Potomac Instagram fan page, Dixon commented, writing, “I don’t know how I got blamed for editing, but maybe she should thank me for not showing the pregnant lady downing champagne at Karen’s party.”
She later said she only commented because she didn’t understand why Rost shaded her and “spread lies” about her “for no reason.” However, Dixon didn’t clarify if Rost did tell her and Bryant that she was leaving and why. Watch the Real Housewives of Potomac reunion Sunday at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
