Ramona Singer is currently promoting the premiere of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, which is now playing on Peacock. But after Bravo canceled the Real Housewives of New York season 13 reunion, it’s unclear what the OG’s future will be like with the Housewives franchise.

With Andy Cohen confirming that RHONY is currently on “pause,” could RHUGT be Ramona’s swan song?

Ramona Singer was investigated for allegedly making a racist remark about Eboni K. Williams

Eboni K. Williams joined the RHONY cast ahead of season 13, and she immediately clashed with Ramona. The duo had a rocky relationship the entire season. But things apparently went off the rails when Ramona allegedly made a comment about Eboni that triggered an investigation.

As the first black Housewife on RHONY, Eboni often brought her politics into conversations. But Ramona wasn’t interested in using the Bravo reality show as a platform for political debate. According to Page Six, Ramona allegedly said, “This is why we shouldn’t have black people on the show” after a heated argument between her, Eboni, and Luann de Lesseps.

The investigation cleared the ‘RHONY’ OG

An insider claims that a complaint was filed about Ramona’s alleged remark. The complaint launched an internal investigation conducted by a third party. Ultimately, the RHONY OG was “cleared of any wrongdoing.”

Ramona vehemently denies making the racist comment, and she told Page Six this was an attempt to slander her.

“I never said that. It’s a terrible lie. It’s very disappointing that even after my name was cleared that people still want to slander me,” Singer said.

Could ‘RHUGT’ be Ramona Singer’s swan song?

While the investigation was underway, filming for the season 13 reunion was scheduled to take place. But Eboni wasn’t interested in reuniting with anyone. Especially after the investigation cleared Ramona.

After a couple of postponements, the season 13 RHONY reunion was ultimately scrapped.

Now, Cohen has confirmed the show is on “pause.” However, the Bravo boss promised that the series hasn’t been canceled.

“We are kind of on pause at this moment, we have a lot of casting happening and we’re looking at every option,” he told guest host Michael Rappaport on The Wendy Williams Show. “We are working on it. I love New York. We all love New York.”

‘RHONY’ won’t come back in 2022

When Cohen says the show is taking a break, he really means it. Former TMZ reporter Anthony Dominic tweeted that RHONY is not on the Bravo schedule in 2022. After a disappointing season 13 that saw the ratings plummet, it’s time for a cast shakeup.

“#RHONY fans! I’m told Bravo currently doesn’t have a new season slated for next year and the franchise will take some serious time off before the reboot. The series is still alive, but Bravo wants to take the time to make the return worth it,” Dominic shared on Twitter.

As for the rumors that Ramona was on the chopping block, she squashed those on Instagram. When asked if she’d been fired, the OG simply wrote, “nope.”

Ramona Singer is part of a ‘wild group’ in ‘Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip’

Cohen also teased that the first season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip was “amazing” and “wild.”

In that limited series, Ramona joined Cynthia Bailey, Luann de Lesseps, Teresa Giudice, Kenya Moore, and Kyle Richards on vacation in Turks & Caicos.

He also says season 2 — which was filmed at Dorinda Medley’s infamous Berkshire home, Blue Stone Manor, — would feature “wall-to-wall drama.”

That season will feature Vicki Gunvalson, Brandi Glanville, Taylor Armstrong, Tamra Judge, Dorinda Medley, Phaedra Parks, Eva Marcille Sterling, and Jill Zarin.

“When you go to the Berkshires, something happens. It’s like a hot house. I mean, it’s wild and when you see that, I don’t know if any of us are ready for it. It is a wild group. It is something else,” he admitted.
