When will ‘Rick and Morty’ Season 6 air on Adult Swim?

As of this write-up, Adult Swim has yet to confirm when Rick and Morty is coming back for new season 6 episodes. But it doesn’t look like fans will have to wait too much longer for the premiere date. How long fans should expect to wait until they can watch season 6 of ‘Rick and Morty’ on HBO Max and Hulu

Although Rick and Morty fans have to wait a while before the season 6 premiere date, they’ll have to wait even longer for the upcoming season to drop on Hulu and HBO Max. Back in October 2019, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that new episodes will only be available to stream five months after the finale date. So seeing as it’s been five months since Rick and Morty Season 5, it’s safe to say that there will be another five-month wait for season 6.

The ‘Rick and Morty’ creator teased more Space Beth in season 6 and season 7

For now, Rick and Morty fans will have to wait and see what happens in season 6. But it looks like fans will see more from Space Beth (voiced by Sarah Chalke). When speaking at Adult Swim Con in 2020, Harmon teased a new story for the character in the sixth season.

“If memory serves, we kind of blow it in terms of addressing [Space Beth] in season five,” Harmon said at the time. “But godd*mn, season six there’s some Clone Beth fireworks.”

Then in March 2021, Harmon hinted that the team started working on season 7 as they wrapped season 5.

“A week from now, the season seven writers room starts while we continue to work on season 5 episodes,” the series creator said at Adult Swim’s SXSW panel.

Whatever happens, it seems like there are plenty of new episodes for Rick and Morty fans to look forward to. Get ready.
