There was a lot going on during The Real Housewives of Potomac season 5 reunion part 3 in regards to the Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Bassett fight aftermath. And even in the midst of this, Robyn Dixon gave one of the most memorable moments of the third part when she said “I’m so glad Juan Dixon isn’t here right now.”

But for The Real Housewives of Potomac season 6, a lot of rumors are rumbling and they are pointing in the direction that Dixon may not be back for this year.

A new report states that Robyn Dixon may not be coming back to the show

It looks like cast members Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Karen Huger and Wendy Osefo received contracts to return to the show. Monique Samuels also got one but decided against coming back to the show after seeing how she was depicted in the third and final part of the reunion. Due to Samuels not coming back, it seems as a cast shake-up has been triggered and Dixon may be a casualty.

As reported by Realtiy Blurb, the podcast Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef, known for interviewing several of the Housewives personalities, has hinted at Dixon not returning. The podcast stated on Instagram that it is likely that Dixon did not receive a contract to come back.

Once a fan commented and said that they enjoyed the podcast interview with Osefo, the podcast’s Instagram account responded with, “LOL! I loved talking to Wendy also. I think she is going to be around for a long while. I think Gizelle without [Robyn] will be so interesting too. Glad you liked our chat with Wendy.”

When asked for clarification, the Behind the Velvet Rope account said, “Well that’s what our sources say BUT we are still trying to confirm it – I’m not sure it’s 100 [percent] confirmed – but I think it’s 99 percent confirmed. Like Gizelle without Robyn – all of a sudden we are so interested on what that will look like based on how the reunion ended. Hence it’s a great casting decision.”

Now, the account made sure to clarify that they “are absolutely not sure” and they are not able to confirm it just yet. “We are working overtime for you trying to see if this is true but the rumor is Robyn didn’t get a contract but we haven’t been able to confirm that yet with our inside sources…We are def trying to see if this is real – Our GUT says it is but def not confirmed yet.”

Robyn Dixon has been making cryptic-like posts on Instagram

Adding fuel to the rumor flames, Dixon has been posting on Instagram. She made one post as a tribute to the season ending, and a lot of fans pointed out how her caption kind of sounds like a “goodbye” message.

“Personally, it has been a privilege and blessing to share my life with you all,” she wrote in part. “Thank to [sic] everyone who has rooted for and prayed for me, thank you for cheering me on, thank you for showing love and support, thank you for being kind, thank you for enjoying my goofy moments, and thank you for supporting my business!!!”

She also recently commented on Wendy Osefo’s Christmas photo with similar sentiments and verbiage, “Wendy, it was such a pleasure getting to know you! We hit it off from the start. I look forward to getting to know you even better and spending more time with your beautiful family.”

There is still no official confirmation if Dixon will stay on the show, leave, or perhaps be a “friend” of the housewives instead. The season has not even started filming yet, so it is definitely still early and a lot of things could change over the next few weeks and months.
