Ronnie from ‘Jersey Shore got into CBD products after his liposuction

The reality TV star launched his side business in October of 2019. At the time, Ortiz-Magro told Us Weekly how CBD helped him stay away from pills and alcohol during his recovery from surgery.

As documented on The Doctors, Ortiz-Magro had liposuction to get his “six-pack abs” back. “I’ve always been a workout fanatic, but it takes a lot of hard work to stay in shape,” Ortiz-Magro explained in the segment.

After the birth of his daughter, Ortiz-Magro says he couldn’t spend two to three hours daily in the gym anymore. Ortiz-Magro had laser liposuction done to bring back the definition in his abdomen.

Post-surgery, Ortiz-Magro told Us Weekly how a friend introduced him to CBD products. He was admittedly surprised at how much they helped. “I’d be in pain, and I’m, like, ‘I feel good!'” he told the outlet. “I don’t feel a nasty feeling after [and] I feel like it lasts.”

Verge CBD products give Ronnie Ortiz-Magro freedom

In speaking with Us Weekly, Ortiz-Magro talked about the ease of use that comes with CBD-infused products. “It’s not like when you take pills,” the Jersey Shore roommate explained.

“I feel like you’re like, ‘I gotta take four [pills] now and then I gotta take another four.’ [With CBD] it’s like one drop, boom. With the pills, it’s like 200 milligrams — that’s all you get.”

For Ortiz-Magro, taking CBD is all about being in control. “You control what you want to do.”
