The BTS members were quizzed on ‘Run BTS!’ history

Episode 100 of Run BTS! opened with a new intro featuring BTS’s single “ON” from their album Map of the Soul: 7. The episode took place in the same stadium as the Idol Star Athletic Championships. For the episode, the group rented out the stadium and it was decked out in BTS and Fila decorations. The BTS members also wore special shirts commemorating the 100th episode of the show.

For the Run BTS! episode, it was decided the BTS members would play upgraded versions of games from past episodes. To decide the teams, the members were quizzed on their knowledge of the show. V won the quiz, and got to pick his team members first.

BTS played a game of badminton

For his team, V picked Jungkook, Jin, and Jimin, the rest of the vocal line. This left the rappers, Suga, RM, and J-Hope, together on the other team, and they immediately assumed they would lose. Because of this, they joked their team name should be “Kim Seokjin,” because Jin’s team usually wins.

The members were told they had to include the word “baek,” which means “hundred” in Korean, in their team names. The rappers chose the name “100 Jin” and V’s team chose the name “Seok 100.”

“Give royalties to me,” Jin joked after both teams used his name.

The members first played a game of badminton using badminton rackets, tennis rackets, frying pans, a dust pan, ping pong paddles, and pot lids. Each BTS member was randomly assigned a racket to use during the game. Before they even started playing, the BTS members were a giggling mess.

BTS played foot volleyball in ‘Run BTS!’

Seok 100 won badminton, and BTS then moved on to play foot volleyball. For foot volleyball, the members could not use their hands or arms to toss the ball over the net. As soon as the game began, the jokes started. Suga tried to get the ball over the net with his head, but did not succeed.

“It’s hard to control,” Suga said about the ball.

“Suga, you’re such a good player,” Jin said sarcastically.

The next serve, J-Hope knocked one of the cameras over when he ran to kick the ball, and he started laughing so hard he fell to the ground.

“They’re so good at making us laugh,” Jimin said.

“I think we have enough funny scenes,” RM said. “Let’s play seriously.”

Even after the proclamation that they would take the game seriously, they did not. Like J-Hope, Jungkook also knocked down a camera, and when he went to set it back up it was facing the ceiling.

“Is it a cannon?” Jin joked.

In the end, Seok 100 won again, beating 100 Jin. The games will continue in the next episode of Run BTS! which airs on April 21.
